The 2X points is a fantastic promotion, other than that, winning money is a complete crap-shoot. But looks like I'll be having a massive week and a half. I still have like $500+ of bonuses stacked on Stars .

That is one sick promotion.

My question: what if the milestone hands end up being tourney hands or on the play money tables? Do they just not pay?

I never play cash games at Stars - only tourneys. I may have to make an exception for this double FPP crapshoot though.

This is a good question. In the past, they have excluded tourneys and sitngos from the hand cash payout.

Also, TP, this is a fantastic bonus, especially if you have bonuses stacked on Stars currently. However, I am pretty sure the FPPs aren't doubled for tourney entries, and are only for ring games. I will advise.

Speaking of FPPs...

Does anyone use them? Tournament Entries? Merchandise?

From support:
Hello Robert,

The system never allocates a round number million hand history to a tournament - it always goes to a ring game, play money or real money.
Therefore, it can't occur in a tournament.

I hope this helps, but if you have further queries, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Best regards,

Andrew

I just spent 500 on an Isabelle Mercier poster. It arrived a couple days ago!

Of course, now I have to get back up to 500 for that freeroll...

I'm actually holding on to mine. I believe when you have a certain amount, you can set up private tournies and such.

TP, how many do you need to have this ability? I think it was like 1800 or so, and I am certainely in that area.

I used to buy electronics with the FPPs (like my fabulous Ultrasharp 2001FP monitor), but now their electronics store sucks. Now, they hardly get any of my play.

I'm actually not sure. I've been able to do it since the first time I tried. I thought it was like 3k or something though... Don't quote me on that. I don't know if you need that many in your account or if you just need to have earned that many lifetime though. I suppose I could spend all mine and find out.

I've spent some on a few small things, plus I've used them to play in some of their big FPP satellites - I actually used 10k to play in one of their WPT PCA satellites (or was it 2? I think it was 2). I still have 7k+. I know that's nothing compared to the high rollers, but for as little as I play on Stars, it's a lot. I can easily clear one of their $120 bonii in just a matter of days, thanks to them giving points for tourney play. I remember furing the WCOOP last year, it worked out to them pretty much paying my first $120 in tourney entry fees.

Thanks for getting that info there, RR. Good to know!

I have 81,000 FPP's. I've bought into 1 Sunday tourny with them and think I might do that from now on since they dont really have anything else I would want.

EDIT: Actually i was just lookin through the FPP store again... I think I might have to signup for one of those SIngle Table Tournament with a star things for 15k FPP. It's either Hachem, Raymer, Mcevoy, or Moneymaker and the payouts are sweet...
1st: $1,000, 2nd $500, 3rd $300, 4th $200, Plus a $250 bounty on the stars head.
Plus I could say I played in a tournament with one of them. lol

Today I actually used 62,000 FPP's to buy my mom a $1,000 shopping spree at , some fancy little store. I def. dont think it was the best way to use the points but it's cool getting ur parents something from poker so they see just how great the game is and she liked it alot too.
