Holy Shit!!! Mortenson was in a pot heads up with this tight/solid Asian player with 46o and was setting up a bluff the whole way. He raised before the flop, the young Asian re-raised, and Carlos called. Carlos checked the flop, and the Asian hit top pair top kicker with his Ajo. Carlos called hoping to take the pot away later and picked up a gutshot draw on the turn. He check-raised, the Asian re-raised or moved in, and Carlos hit his gutshot on the river...what a hand.

I thought it was rather disappointing. Kevin Nealon and Evelyn Ng aren't very good commentators. Maybe it was geared towards new players, but I didn't find it that entertaining at all.
Some of those hands were pretty crazy though. Quad Jacks vs Flopped Full Queen over Jacks, AA vs 10 10, and other hands like that. |

I am a relatively new player and also didn't find it entertaining at all. Nealon isn't funny or knowlegable and Ng didn't provide much beyond the belly shirt. The second episode was better, largely due to the new color guy. (I"ve seen him on WSOP 2004, but his name slips my mind as I type.) Nealon is still not so good. |

Ya, the second episoid was a little bit better. Kevin Nealon isn't very knowledgable in the game and isn't very entertaining either. I think they should have found someone with either more knowledge or was more entertaining.
As for the play, there's quit a lot of beats, it's like watching a few rounds at party poker...haha. |
