My up and down weekend

well the only reason I come to this conclusion is when im at higher levels and I lose a good sum of it I always drop down and rebuild so I have to be doing something right. I mean im playing all paint and sometimes stuff like K-9,8....Q-9,8 and A-9,8 only if I can get in with one bet and im very late in position I hardly ever bluff unless im pretty sure my opponent dont have it. It took me awhile and a couple hundred to turn my negative bankroll into a positive one im still down all in all but at least now im playing with other peoples money. Even though its other peoples money I still play tight only problem I can see is when I get mad ive gotten better at calming down or go smoke or something. Think I should have my roll up to about $500 by end of next week im averageing $50 dollar profit a day in .25/.50 playing 4-5 tables at once.

Brian,

There's something I don't quite get... Why're you in such a rush? If you put such lofty goals (winning 500 in 1.5 weeks at .25/.5), you're likely going to be disapointed, and could burn yourself out by playing so much.

I'm just a concerned citizen.

So what exactly do you do if an Ace hits the flop?

I usually lead out and bet to see if there is any intrest in the pot if its re-raised I fold if its called I check the turn if its raised I fold. If I get to look at the 2 free cards im looking to hit 2 pair if I dont and its raised on river I fold.

its gonna be hard not to go home and play but I have to get some sleep tonight if anyone wants to sit at one of my tables I play every morning like 11am- 5pm eastern time ill be at 3-4 .25/.50 tables and im on all weekend.

I must be a super-tight player, because I don't consider playing K8 and Q8 'tight'.

read what you quoted and for setting goal at $300 i wont be disapointed if I dont do it but you have to have a goal. set the bar high baby.
