Beat: Running Cursed at Foxwoods....
So I went to Foxwoods a couple weeks ago and had the worst session of my life playing 2/4 LHE. In 5 hours, I think I raked in like 2 or 3 pots, and only one of decent size (probably around $40).
It had gotten to that time where I really didn't want to lose all my money, so I started to make plans to leave. I decided that when the blinds came back around, I was out of here. When I reach UTG +1, I look down and see 55. I call and a few people see a flop with me. Flop comes 567. I bet $2, one guy folds, and the next guy raises me. Last guy folds and I just call, figuring he might have the straight. Turn comes a K and I decide to bet out again, considering that looks like a fairly safe card for me. Guy raises me again. I call. River comes another K to give me 5s full of Ks. River gets capped. He flips over K6.
I say gg and leave the table quickly, obv.
This beat has been haunting me for 2 weeks now. I think I'm finally over it.
