Thanks a lot, Dutch - I appreciate you stopping by.

I hope this place continues to boom too! Feel free to tell your poker buddies about it, and come back any time. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we'd love to have you as a regular poster here.

Does this really seem like a guy with something to hide? Personally I hope he comes by often enough to get your $105 TP

It was pretty cool for him to come by. His site is pretty informative and hopefully he will turn things around for himself, in a business sense.

I got to talk with him via e-mail a few times, put a banner ad up for him on the handicapping site I work for, and tried to arrange to meet him in Atlantic City last time I was out there but that didn't work out. Though if I was Dutch I am not sure I would be rushing out to the oceaside to meet someone who might think I stole their money, but hoepfully we'll get to meet up someitme. He was always very free with advice when I would ask him questions, nothing ever got too deep, but nontheless he always replied, except the one time I asked for an autograph, Dutch whats up with that?

after reading that interview, and being a businessman myself -- i know how it is when something slams in your face. when you're inexperienced sometimes that happens, that's life. honestly there was so much money to be made by keeping the card room up that taking the money and running just doesn't seem logical to me. however, i wasn't involved so i'm sure if i was one of the people that got stiffed i would be pretty angry.

thanks for taking the time to reply dutch.

I also agree that if Dutch wanted to make the most money he could he would try to open up another card room with a traditional rake. He could have used some of his $ and been a silent partner etc. but he wants to set up a rakefree card room. any site will make a ton of money, he's not in it for humanitarian reasons, he wants to make money like anyone else, but if he was simply chasing every last dime, there are better ways to do it. I tend ot think what he says is the truth. but he has a long way to go to clear his name, perception is reality! Hope he keeps posting here. I think if he, and the rest of his crew, check it out regularly they will see that we mostly talk about POKER. Crazy concept I know for a poker forum, but..........

He didn't seem to be really address the concerns of the people that got worked over in the whole situation. Seem like he was more interested in promoting those sites than anything else.

there's plenty of stuff addressing the issues in the website he was "promoting." don't be so quick to judge. i think the way he explains it makes it pretty clear that it was a huge fuck up, and a fuck up he didn't forsee.

Yes but....
That is not the issue.

Either way, Welcome to the board Dutch. Good luck with your sites.
Hopefully you can one day put this behind you.

He didnt have to explain a thing, but he outlined what he's upto and maybe future plans. Not bad for him to post something here.
