Default Question

Just saw the leagues for talkinpoker. and also happened to come across some freeroll tourneys put on by other forums. I was wondering if talkinpoker does the same?

we find freerolls are a waste of time, we prefer to add money as an added buy in prize pool, and have forum competitions for regular posters and things

We've done freerolls, yes.... I'm planning on having a big one at the end of the league, in fact. But they are't for just anyone who feels like taking advantage of my generosity - they are for contributing members of this site, or as in this case, the Top 9 league finishers.

NO this is not like other forums that run tons of freerolls to get tons of users that are only there to play for free in chance of winning some free money. This site has mostly real money players but do have some people that dont have money but they are trying to learn not just trying to get into a freeroll to get some easy money.

If the only reason you come here is to get into some freerolls its just best to move along. We did try to run a freeroll here once and it became a idiot fest and we lost alot of quality users because of it. Now I cant speak for TP but im sure he dosent want to go through that again.

now if you want to get into some freerolls the kiddie pool is down the street. Now if you want to get better at poker and maybe one day be good enough to feel comfortable depositing stick around you might learn something.

I'm sure if you searched the forums a bit, you'd find all sorts of tourneys we've run in the past. We'll run many more in the future too, of course, but probably not until after the TWENTY league tourneys are over (those ARE our forum tourneys right now - and everyone is welcome to play in them).

Sorry guys, I was just asking a question. I did not read through on my grammar my fault. I realize that freerolls are pointless but I was just wondering. Thank you anyways. At this time I do have money to play with and that was when I first got on here. Sorry for my idiot posts.
