lol, was wondering who the first person would be to ask that question. I didn't want the guy to fold and not show my cards(I don't have the option of showing my cards on pokerroom). I was on a very hot streak and I wanted them to think I was hitting everything, so I checked it down to show everyone. So in a nutshell, it was all about table image.

I have the option to show my cards at pokerroom.
Why don't you?
Click options, then preferences, then fool around with all the little options.

As for the hand.... Good job! Welcome to the club.

That's the only reason I could think of. I haven't played Pokeroom for ever. Bad memories, lol.

Not sure if I like your bet on the flop or not.... It's a bit deceptive, in that most people would check a flopped flush there, but I don't know that that outweighs the value of letting him "catch up" a little bit.

The turn flat call, I do like...... but only if you are planning to nail him on the river. I understand you didn't have your muck ooptions set properly, but regardless, you have to bet here, even if you are risking the table not seeing your cards. Your MTT Image isn't worth as much as those extra chips are to you. Plus, I'm not sure playing a hand like this is quite the image you want to be sending anyway........

Now that I've gotten that rant off my chesy............ Welcome to the Club!

My first and only royal took down quad jacks on a party tourney. It was beautiful. The guy was devastated and dumbfounded. His chat messages were..... "wow" and "I mean..... I had four jacks"

Shame that didn't happen at a bad beat table.

Losing with quad Jacks has got to sting.

i lost with quad kings to a runner runner royal in a home game tourney... buddy of mine pushed in (pure bluff) on the flop... i happily called with my quads... and the runner runner showed its ugly head.

now THAT is a bad beat.
