Default Brag: The Hammer... Live & in Color

Went to the local B&M poker room yesterday and played a little $2/$2 NL. Was completely card dead for about an hour and a half and it got to the point where people at the table were ragging on me for being so tight.

So, I thought, OK I'll use this to my advantage and the next time The Hammer shows up I'm going to play it like rockets. Literally about 2 hands later it shows up with me UTG+2 (full ring)... so, I make it $12 to go (w/one limper already in that was pretty standard). The raise is met with ooo's and ahh's from the table and comments like, "you know that's aces or kings..." One guy folds saying, "I'm definitely giving you respect." Perfect.

Get two callers and the flop comes down J63 rainbow. Me likey. UTG checks and I fire out a bet of $30. Guy behind me calls (somewhat concerning but he was a loose player that would often times fold to further aggression), UTG folds.

Down to two players and the turn is an 8 putting two suits on the board. As I reach for a stack of $50 the guys says, "don't bother" and mucks. I then slowly move my cards face down towards the middle of the table and then flip 'em over. The table goes nuts. My favorite comments were, "shit, now I have no idea how to play that guy, I thought he was tight." "I don't have the stones to play 72 like that." And, my favorite from the guy that folded on the turn, "I knew he had nothing." Sure you did chump.
