My goal for poker is to go to the WSOP main event by the year of 2012, and get into the money.

I would love to play in ANY WSOP event when I am 21 (08).

Also I really want to save up some money and start playing poker online the right way, with a bankroll to work with that can handle the inherent variance in poker.

Edit: Fixed typo, and I just realized that like the only WSOP I would be able to play in is the main event since my birthday is like a week before. Maybe when I am 22.

I am hoping to win entry into the main event this year

If not I plan on buying in to event 2 (assuming my bankroll is in good shape)

either event my first goal would be to make the money, afterwards my goals would change as I got deeper

my poker goals:

1) first and foremost, have fun-it's one of my favorite hobbies

2) enjoy playing challenging, competitive NLHE tourney poker that will help me learn and improve my game

3) if anything else happens (succesfully satelliting to WSOP/WPT/WCOOP/weekly 500K/monthly 700K/any other big event), that's just gravy

I like to get more POY points in 2006 than I had in 2005, and that's going to require going REALLY deep in at least one big major tourney... probably two.

Just cashing in the 2006 WSOP Main Event would be nice, but I want Top 100.
