Default New idea or compensation for posting...

Hey TP, if you want to keep the deal up for longer you could do something like this...

Once someone gets to 250 posts, they get to play you (or a moderator or something) heads-up. If they win, then they get the $25. If they lose, then they've got to keep working to 500 to get another shot Would be fun, because it would add some more poker into our site and make it cheaper for you.

Default Awesome idea!

I think it should be implemented when you get to 199 posts.

I would offer a spin on that:

Give people the following option:

1) take 25$ at 250 posts

or

2) at 250 posts, play a moderator heads up for 35$

That way you get added motivation of 10$, but also gives the forum the distinct advantage...which IMO is how it should be since its the forums money in the first place.

That's a great idea.... I wouldn't feel right changing the rules at this stage, but offering people the $25 guaranteed with a shot at $35 or $40 thing might be a good option. That way, they don't HAVE to play, but can if they want to...

Where would we actually play? We don't want to sit at some random cash table and get raked, right? I'd have to look into this more, but I like this idea a lot.

Yeah... It would definitely be unfair to change the deal now, but if after december you feel like keeping the deal going, but there are too many people to give $25 to each 200 poster (like if you had 1000 people), then you could change the deal to the above.

Or people like me that wait until 450 posts, because I don't want to open an account at Empire yet but eventually want a deposit bonus there .

Default hey

to add a wrinkle to it. You could offer the 25 No questions asked. Then it would be like monty pythons lets make a deal. You can have the 25$ or trade it for a heads up match for 40 or 50. If they win they get 50 if they lose 00.0000000000 you know. That way you are not scamming. You offered the 25 and they felt the need for more. I would love this personally. Plus since we will not be getting paid to post later taht will give a few a chance to"double up" so to speak

I know, and the great thing is that most or even all of them are either relevant or funny. You gotta admit, my posts are not 1 or 2 word posts, something I would definately not do to take advantage of this. Just love talking poker and baseball, basketball, and such. Great site man, good variety but still dominantly poker. That's what we're all here for.

You could like go to pokerroom.com and go to like a 25/50 play money private table. Both players get 1500 chips, and play until one person gets all. And since its play money, you dont lost anything.

No if you lose you get a pair of sheep, or an old abandoned refigerator, or a flashlight without a bulb, or maybe a deck of cards with no aces

We should do this for the forum freeroll. Everyone gets 1500 chips and winner takes all. Could set up a few tables and the winner could move to the next private table. Even if it is money free, bragging rights are always good.
