Default I'm Speechless

I don't understand. What was this guy thinking. This might be the worst beat i've had in my 3 years of playing poker. Not only was this guy drawing to two outs, but he only had two outs that would give him anything but just the board.

phew thank god that's not my name up there lol

but I might have done the same thing on that hand. I mean a pair is still a pair.

And right after the flop, his chances improved. He could have had a chance for a straight or a boat. Which he did!

I know that's probably not the way to play it according to all the books but not everyone plays Hold'em by the book.

Btw ...don't listen to anything I'm saying. I'm a total n00b and just observing here, I don't think TP would appreciate my 2 cents in here lol

The call on the flop was not that bad, but after the turn he did not have a straight draw and his pair did not even play. If i had 78 i would have been ahead of him after the turn.

Wow. You're thought process here is leaving me pretty much speechless.

You do realize that on the turn, the only hand 33 is ahead of is 22, right? EXACTLY 22. And you do realize that to IMPROVE with the 33, you need to hit a 2 outer (one of the two remaining 3s) AND if your opponent is holding a 4 or a 5, you're drawing completely dead.

Anything except 22 was ahead of him on the turn. ANYTHING.

True.

Yeah I might have folded on the turn now that I rethink it. This just goes to show you some ppl believe in luck. He sure got lucky there.

Would have been a hard lay down for sure, have had a rough trip down the river a time or 2 also, just keep playing well and the ride may be smooth next time you are in that situation.

hmm did you forget your blindfold somewhere; just skip over my posts next time ok lol

I'm saying this is how I used to play it. I'm not doing that anymore btw. I mean I folded PP Q's the other night cus I chickened out. It was an all in and I figured the other guy had better so I folded my Q's.

What about the monster hand 32? Suited or not suited, I know I'm raising that bitch 7xBB preflop everytime!
