Default When Antes start in a toureny...

I hear you guys talk about kicking up your game in tournament when the antes start coming. I was just wondering how exactly do you this? I understand that you steal more but do you bet higher or do you just raise with more hands and loosen up?

Generally speaking (this depends on a number of things, like my stack, etc), I just loosen up. Usually, I have a pretty tight image up to this point, and now that it's worthwhile, I start stealing blinds more often.

Are you stealing from SB , Button, One off button and anyother postions? Also what type of hands are you stealing with... Suited connectors, suited one-gapers, hands like K9, Q10o... Lets just say if you have an average stack at this point.

Ace rag, K7+ suited, K9os+, suited conns. Q8s+. To start with if im lower than average ill steal with 2 4suited etc, but the more comfortable in chips i am, the more my hand will have to be for me to risk

When antes come in, there are 2 x BBs in the pot, not 1BB and 1 SB, so stealing becomes more EV.

I don't really have a list of hands... it depends on the table, my position, my stack and the stacks to my left, how willing those players are to defend, and so on.

That why I said generally speaking, I open up my game a bit (meaning I open raise more liberally).
