What a luckbox, sheez. I think my 5 year old would have won with those cards.

Yeah, when I watched the live full final table feed with no cards I thought he was likely playing well and making some plays (using the table talk he had set up over the course of the final 5-6 tables (with some of the FT players).

He only made a few plays (that they showed), but I think they would have showed any big bluffs/plays if he made them, so he basically was just getting SICK cards.

To bad Allen C. didn't catch ONE big hand against him.....

I wish Watushia (sp wrong I know) would of went allin with the spade and open straight draw vs Gold and the other guy and tripled up. The chip count would of pretty damn close after the triple up.

It was the right play to fold but if Gold bust both of those guys, Watushia still finishes 2nd place so why not roll the dice. He pretty much had to roll the dice there to get the chips close.

agreed, if the other guy (not wassica or old) had him covered it would be a little different since he could lose a spot if gold beats them both, but he was in second anyway.

He did say in his interview that he thought he could take gold down HU with a short stack, but this is still a pretty good spot assuming that the 3rd player overcalls.

I disagree that it was the correct play to fold, I think I would of called this even though I thought I could fold to 2nd. I would want to go against him with a big stack also, if that meant I might lose a couple million I woud take the gamble. That is just me though, I guess if you really want the 2nd over the 3rd it was correct but my goal would of been winning the whole thing and if that means gambling a tiny bit It is a risk I would be willing to take.

Actually, thinking about this some more, the 3rd guy might very well toss that TPTK if Wassica calls (hoping that Gold takes him out and he would move up to at least 2nd). Then Wassica is risking 2nd place for third and making a mistake. Only correct IF the 3rd guy is all in as well, IMO. Also, would be better if HE could have pushed it on the semi-bluff, but Gold didn't cooperate there.
