I heard the same thing... if you sign up and play at Doyle's site, then you can get an early copy of SS2. Can anyone verify this?

I believe you have to accumulate 10000 FPP at the site before you get a copy of the book early.

I would imagine 10K is a lot of points to accumulate, only because it's a small site with few people. Anyone have anything on how to accumulate an FPP point?

You can indeed get it at Doyle's site (if you play a ton of hands), but you're not going to get it any sooner than anyone else... or so I've heard. Even if you find playable games there and manage to accumulae the points, the book won't be shipped to you until it's available elsewhere anyway. Me... I'll just wait and pick it up through Amazon, which currently lists a February 1 release date:

Yeah, I would wait too. I wonder how much you could get for an early copy on eBay tho. Just like Harry Potter when his book came out early.

How essential do you all feel it is for a relative newcomer, who plays an overall good, tight, consistent game, to read Super System 1?
