Holy cow, I'm going to be playing a lot of damn poker this month. I already have to clear over 1000 hands at party, LOL.

How hard is it to clear the bonus? How does the FPP system work for like a low limit NL player.

For a low limit NL player you pretty much have to play sit n gos. Playing the 5 dollar ones you can clear a bonus in a week or two as long as you play often. You can clear much faster the more you pay for entry.

Very true:
Five (5) FPPs are awarded for each $1 in tournament fees paid

That doesn't sound like something that's right for me then. I was looking more towards trying to clear the entire 150 dollar bonus if possible, but that would mean 150 sit n go's and I hardly ever play those. lol.

did anyone see if there is a time limit to clear the bonus on pokerstars, im at work and cant look it up since they filter all gambling sites ( no idea how they didnt catch this one). Because if there is no time limit ill just deposit $50 and chill out in .05/.10 and take my time clearing it. If there is a time limit ill probolly pass on it.

Yeah, I'm working of party's reload. Their's is nice and easy to clean up....just have to multitable it. Although it is harder to focus this way....but this seems more like work than anything else. ><

I'm pretty sure there is no limit on Stars bonuses... In fact, I still haven't cleared the last one, but it say on their terms page that they will just add it on. In other words, the first 150 points I play (or whatever I have left) will go towards the old bonus, and then the nex 750 will go towards the new one.

Default A little confusing

I wondered about this too, especially since Party's is so tight -- only seven days to clear. But the other thing was this disclaimer

"If you cash out any amount from your PokerStars account during the Bonus Period, but prior to making a qualifying deposit, you are ineligible for the deposit bonus."

which means the bonus period must have a defined start and end, right?

From what I read earlier I believe TP is right in there is no limit on time spent trying to clear bonus, which means I can play .05/.10 and take my time to clear it....yippie for me.

The bonus is paid out in one big lump sum then? I'm still debating weather or not I should sign up. I play a ton, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to clear this bonus. Can anyone tell me what the max buy in is for the 25/50 cent blinds for NL?

For what it's worth, last night I finished clearing their LAST 25% bonus (from a month plus ago). This new promo was running, and that bonus was still live. So I don't believe there is a time limit.

The drawback to this, of course, is that the $600 I deposited in Stars for the last one is now $1300, and I can't cash any of it out (like $1000 for the Party Reload) because I need to deposit another $600 first. I'm sure I can juggle my money around easily enough to hit all these... you just have to be careful and not do anything that will void a bonus (like cashing out from Stars BEFORE depositing).

Default Maybe I need more coffee ...

Or it could be that all those Party bad beats have rotted my brain. But I'm still having trouble understanding this. If you clear a bonus from the last period and make a profit on it, can you not withdraw it because it will void any play you have towards the next one.

I think he's saying if he wants to take advantage of this 25% deposit bonus they have now, that he must make a deposit first, before withdrawing any of his bankroll there.

During a bonus period at Stars, like now, if you cash out before making your deposit, you are not eligible for a bonus. Period.

It has nothing to do with how much money is in your account, if you earned the last bonus, and so on.

This is my understanding of it. Party doesn't seem to care, but stars doesn't want you pulling money out of your account and then throwing it right back in so you can get bonus... they want fresh money put into your account.

Yes, exactly. So now I have $2000 in my Stars account, which is more than I need in there for the stakes I play (and it ties up money that could be used towards other reload bonuses)...

After you deposit that money for the reload bonus, couldn't you withdraw money out now? I heard that those bonuses last forever, regardless of weather or not you withdraw the entire bankroll now.

Default Repeat bonus in January

Check out the heading: "How are Still Pending Bonuses Handled?" on the main FAQ about the bonus ()

Could it be that PokerStars plans on recurring monthly deposit bonuses??

That could be sweet!

Ahh, but the example isn't necessary unless there is more than one bonus offer. They obviously went through the trouble of making a policy with future bonuses in mind. Anybody offering odds here?

Well, as I sauid, I jsut finished clearing the last bonus - during this bonus period. So yes, they can easily overlap (depends how slow you are at earning them).
