Default i love the law of averages

so to make a long story short playing on PS was down $40 (which is a pretty decent amount for me since i play low limits) and i made it all back and a lot more in 2 hands against the guy who i lost $30 in one hand to (AA vs Q6o board came out like this: QT362 )

the funny thing is i was a little on tilt and i called 3xBB raise from the same guy with A2s and caught a straight for the first hand
junYUN: shows [2c Ac] (a straight, Ace to Five)
junYUN collected $39.60 from pot

VERY NEXT HAND dealt AA same guy goes all in PF, i call of course, he turns over QTs and this time AA held up.
junYUN: shows [Ah Ac] (a pair of Aces)
junYUN collected $36.55 from pot

god i love the fact that i finally recovered from a bad beat to take my money BACK from the idiot (instead of him donating to someone else) and then i took all HIS money on top of it.

good mood

Good stuff. I am so used to seeing the idiot spread my money around the table, it's not even funny... There have been a few times where the idiot was nice enough to repeatedly steal from the others and then give it all to me... Oh, that is SO sweet!

the idiot always seems to dump my chips all over the rest of the table before i have a chance to get any of them back, at least when i play live.

online seems to be a bit different, which is a plus. most of the idiots there dont realize that they are idiots, and then tend to give it back piece by piece over the rest of the session.

The only thing that pisses me off is the idiots that tell the idiots that they're idiots. Do you get what I'm saying? They are scaring them off, or at least giving them more of an education. Why can't they just let them be?

Instinct. At least for me.

Try as I might, sometimes it's really hard to keep my mouth shut.... especially when an idiot is being and idiot and thinks he's a great player because he has a few lucky suckouts...

TP, I think you meant frustration, not instinct. But I can see how it can deter one from going on tilt. Let it out and then reset the head.

I know last night I was on a sitngo and playing with some guy who had a screenname of some STD medicine of some sort. LMAO, saying thanks when he was scooping pots and stuff. He is talking to his buddy who is on the rail and saying that the table sucked. Boy was I delighted when I knocked him off. I don't know, I just really hate it when people persist. I can understand every now and then, but this guy was going overboard.

i used to hate those people at my tables, but then i realized something.

they are usually my worst opponent, and as much as they lecture others, they dont listen to their own advice. they dont usually drive that many people away, and they are generally losers in the sessions.

they go on tilt, give me their chips, and then bitch about play at the table. no problems for me.

Default please don't tap on the glass

when a good player starts yelling at a bad player, lately i have IMMEDIATELY jumped all over the good player. This does three things in my eyes 1.) The good player is angry (obviously) so it pushes him even further on tilt. 2.) it makes the bad player feel better - they will continue to play loose, or at the very least STAY (which for some reason the 'good' player wants to not happen which i always find bizarre). 3.) its FUN!

when i first started, i admit that i was a 'yeller'. I rarely do that now. What i do sometimes is slide in semi-sarcastic comments that seem like compliments. I am trying to get away from this as well. No point.

Do you know what we shoud do? We should be compliment them in a geniune way! Keep it friendly - keep them happy, keep them chasing.

The example that TP gives - the idiot who thinks he is great - is tough - but again, we WANT him to think he is great. Why try to change his mind?

Next time the dork at the table is killing you, and you feel your temperature rising - instead of taking it out on him, try taking it out on someone else that is taking it out on the dork. You still feel better - and i think its more productive. They LOVE it when you say something like "You are the typical, big-mouth complainer on these sites. Some break-even hot shot that yells and screams when someone draws out on them, but then thinks they deserve it when they catch. you guys are way worse than the people you yell at."

Default paying the club fee/dues

I refer to this as 'paying our club dues'. We all have to take a turn - someone at the 6 or 10 seated table has to pay off the dork chasing his bad cards. Then he distributes the money to the rest of the 'club members'.

They HAVE to hit once in a while - the math says so - plus its what keeps them reloading. If they never hit vs. anyone, then it would all be tight players pushing chips in a clockwise manner.

No point? I do this all the time, when he's chasing, instead of "nice catch", I'll say "nh" or well-played. Let them think they made the correct play. These are the types of players that think they did the right thing because they saw it (even in a totally different situation) on television.
