Default 10,000 Freeroll At prima sites

$10,000 prize pool

Just in case anyone thought the field for the WSOP was becoming a crapshoot at 2-3000

their 3000 entrants freerolls are pretty much crapshoots now. i liked it much better when they had 500 person freerolls, even if it was much more difficult to get into them. however, i do like that the prima sites have freerolls that actually pay out a significant chunk of change. the raked hand freerolls were particularly nice, as they often paid out almost 20% of the field when i was playing them.

They just cancelled tournament because they couldnt support it. why would they open a tourney to 20K people. Makes no sense, unless they were just trying to see how high they could go before they crashed. They said they are going to put up 2 5K freerolls, but I only see one 5K.

I can't believe they cancelled the tournament because they couldn't support it. Someone screwed up. I would think that they would make sure that they could support the 20,000 people before they opened a tournament to everyone. It doesnt give much to their reputation.

Default Wondering about Prima

It's weird. My own experiences have been good.

I just played a pretty good freeroll the other day
I was able to turn my free $10 into $50 and cash out (by hard copy check, no less) without a problem

So in theory I should be a very satisfied customer. But everything I read is so negative -- stories of them freezing accounts, demanding ridiculous documentation before paying out, and now this. I have a whopping $1.20 left after my last cash out, and while I'm always up for a good freeroll, don't see myself deposititing anytime soon.
