The fan was definately wrong for throwing a drink at Artest. As fans, yes we pay to watch athletes perform, and to have a good time, but that does not give us the right to assault, in any way shape or form, a player. At the same time, Artest was wrong as well. Professional athletes do not have the right to enter the stands, ever. Their place is on the court. It doesn't matter if he threw a brick at Artest. Artest should not have gone in their. In my opinion, it is the fault of the security, and the arena in general. The fan should not have had such easy access to the players. Once that cup was thrown, their should have ben a securit guard right there within seconds, to properly apprehend the culprit. Everything in this situation is wrong. But it was friggin hilarious to watch.
