Default [Mirabelle Poker] Free $10 - SECOND THREAD

Here is a live chat conversation I had with the great support team over at Mirabelle. I STILL don't have my question answered.

Support: Hello, this is Ryan with Powernetwork support. How may I help you?
Aequitas58: Hello Ryan.
Support: hello
Aequitas58: How do I accumulate player points?
Aequitas58: Hello?
Support: by playing in real money hands
Support: and tournaments
Support: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
Aequitas58: That's what I thought. But, I've been playing for the past 30 minutes, and I haven't accumulated any.
Aequitas58: What limit do I have to play at?
Support: one moment
Aequitas58: I looked on the website and I can't find anything about POINTS.
Aequitas58: Does the pot have to be above $20 or something?
Aequitas58: Hello?
Support: points are not put into your account until around 1am server time
Aequitas58: Server time? Where are you located?
Aequitas58: And, in the meantime, can you tell me how many points I have just accumulated? My screenname is: Aequitas58.
Support: I cant check to see how many points you have accumulated, because it hasnt been posted yet
Aequitas58: OK. Where are the servers located? What time zone? What ... hemisphere?
Aequitas58: It helps me out.
Support: the server time is located at the top of the lobby screen
Aequitas58: No Ryan - I think that's MY time... unless you are located on the East Coast in the USA.
Support: are you est time
Aequitas58: Yes.
Aequitas58: Are you?
Support: no
Aequitas58: I didn't know ANY poker servers were hosted in the United States, let alone the East Coast.
Support: the server is in est time
Aequitas58: Ok. Well, whatever. Thanks for your help.
Support: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
Aequitas58: Nah.

i signed up to see if i would get the free ten bucks, about 12 hours ago, and i still dont have it. I asked support initially how long it would take, they said under an hour. 6 hours later or so i asked again how long it would take, and they said 48 hours....around this time there were about 300 people playing on the site....lets just say I am not expecting much out of this venture

For all the effort you guys put into chasing $10 around, you could have spent that time playing at a real poker site and earned a lot more than that...

You know, I was thinking the same thing. Either that or they could have put up 250 posts and got $25 from you .

I just wanted to see it happen. Besides, it's fun - especially if I'm able to turn it into a profit.

My $10 is now $27, having since played two half-hour sessions of $.10/$.25 NL. The players are terrible.

I can't figure out the point system yet.

Default Formula reaveled

I made a concerted effort that my 200th post would not be about Mirabella. Now that that is behind me …

Yeah, I was on WPoker (skin of the same network as Mirabelle) and I was up almost $10 within the first 40 minutes at .05/.10 LIMIT!

Unfortunetly, I had to go out for a bit, so I logged off dumbfounded at the hands people were calling me down with (J high with capped betting on all rounds, overcards, etc... ). Later I remembered this $10 free offer and it all made sense, there is a bunch of free money players throwing it away.....logged back in as soon as I got home to get another $4 in 1 hour Would have played all night, but table tightened up around 11PM.

I went to sign up last night but when I downloaded the software and went to open up an account, it said I already had an account there. I put in the password that I normally use for my poker sites and there was my account. The weird thing is I had never signed up at Mirabelle before. I had signed up previously at WPoker so I'm wondering if that is where this account came from. Also, I thought the offer was that all existing players would get $10 as well but my account has no money in it. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Keep getting lucky after mistakenly betting the wrong amount, and you'll be able to eat pizza every night for the rest of your life.
