when do you need to book it by? I need to plan this shit soon and I have no clue what to do

Im always at the Rio . Its really nice to have a room to go to without having to deal with the travel.Also nice on dinner breaks to be able to get away from the riff raff that is the wsop. Its not the best hotel in the world but it fine . I usally book about a month or so before.Hope that helps

Rio for sure
You don't want to be worried about catching a cab, delays, or any other unforeseen variables. The Palms, which across the street (5/10 minute walk in 100 degree weather), is a hipper/more fun, but if you are playing, you want to be able to go directly from your quiet, air-conditioned room to the tables as quickly and easily as possible.
The Rio is nothing special, but is clean and comfortable. Book soon -- rates are great right now.

Def the Rio. I stayed at the Flamingo because it was free, but getting there was a hassle. Having a room for short down times would be very nice.
