Default Money on Neteller

So I still had few hundred dollars on neteller and on January 17 tried to withdraw my remaining money to my bank. Today it is still listed as pending and after 3 emails I finally got this response:

At this time, our ability to provide US members with withdrawals is significantly reduced. We assure you that restoring withdrawal options for you is our top priority. In the meantime, your funds continue to be safely maintained in trust on your behalf.

Unfortunately, we cannot determine how long it will take to restore our withdrawal systems, but will advise you of any changes at updates.neteller.com.

Please continue to visit our US Member Update at for the latest information about NETELLER and its service to US members.

This is a pretty bullshit response but the real question is how long do you guys think it will be before I get any of that money? I thought I had gotten it all out but didn't take into account a recent cashout I had made a day before the shit hit the fan. Now I figure I am pretty much screwed until they feel like giving me my money.

I'm guessing 8 weeks for checks. Probably 4 weeks for EFTs. If I don't get that money before April, I'm kind of screwed for taxes.

I can't believe you'd even offer to do something like this.

You've got nerve.

No you're not, just file for an extension.

This is no good. Even if you file for an extension you will have to estimate your tax liability and stroke a check to Uncle by April 17 (2 extra days this year due to the 15th falling on a weekend and 16th being Emancipation day in DC).

Please note: I'm not a auditor, I just listen to them bitch every day. YMMV.

Of course you still have to file an estimate, but he's not "screwed" if he has to wait 90 days to pay. He'll just owe some interest. Maybe we just have different threshholds for what constitutes "screwed."

So I just noticed that my business bank account doesn't match my books... WTF? Oh, I see - the money I withdrew from Neteller on 1/15 (before the shit went down) is still MIA. WTF? I wonder how long those transactions will be "Pending" for me.

Good stuff.

Hmm, this aint good.

I too requested a withdrawal on the 20th of jan. It left neteller saying "adjustment" on the 21st jan as usual, and always takes 3 days to reach my bank.

10 days later..... nothing.

Bear in mind im british, not american, this shouldnt affect me, but is, grrrr.

EDIT - on live chat now, see what they say, will post with info

I'll be in Windsor end of month if any of you Americans want to transfer funds to my neteller and meet me in Detroit. I'll bring you American $$$ and will charge a fee based on the amount I will be funneling over the border .

Talk around PS is that there is another way of depositing money into poker sites for Americans.

Use of a Visa gift card. It works, many of my American friends have tried it. Price for a 50$ card is about 55$; but it is worth the trouble of loaning & trusting, other players/friends, with money to send to your account.

I think the only way to get the money by April is to transfer it to a non-us person and then them transfer you the money on Stars. I hate Neteller.

But you will be happy to know your funds are being kept in a trust on your behalf until they feel like giving you your money back.
