Default Last nights ESPN circuit event

Ok want to talk about last nights poker on TV. Did you like it? I was very happy with this torney the play in it was very top notch. What about when Chris got quads, I think he played it perfect. This guy is soooo good at torney play, no wonder he is one of the most feared torney players out there. Who was that internet guy that got 2nd I have never heard of him before. I guess he is very good they kept talking about how he was the best internet player out there. Any opinions on any of this?

I didn't recognize his name either. Anyone remember what they said his screen name was? I thought he played a lot better than he freestyled, that's for sure.

I'll tell you one thing... on that hand when Chris had quads (AAAAK) and he had KJ for Aces full of Kings, I was AMAZED that he didn't go broke. I honestly think 90% of people go broke that hand, if not more.

My only thought is that he knew Chris couldn't call him with a WORSE hand (he would fold AAAQQ, for example, because of the King in the board), but if Chris did happen to have that one card in the deck that beats him, he'd go broke.

Good play though. Tough beat.

I can honestly say I would of also, I would of probolly put Chris on something like QQ or some other high pair and thought my K on river was good. I mean come on there is only 1 single card in the whole deck that had you beat. "what did you get blessed with quads", very nice read. Gotta admit Chris played that hand perfect if I was in that other guys shoes no way I could of put him on the "A". I honestly don't think many people could, freaking Chris face dosent change ever Phil Ivey and him are in that class where there is NO way you can read them.

Before the king even spiked, there was KK, QQ, and Ah that would beat him. After the K there was just the Ah

I would of pushed on the turn and been knocked out viciously -- much props to this guy for not going broke

I thought Ferguson played the quad Aces hand beautifully. If he checks the flop, he gives it away that he has an Ace. He bets out each round afterwards in almost a reverse-psychology bluff.

Then you have Norman Chad indicating that he'd have to check the flop and couldn't understand why Ferguson bet out. That's why you're announcing Norm.

Phalad Friedman is Spirit Rock on Ultimate Bet, you can see him normally playing the 25/50 NL game that UB spreads.

Another very very good internet player getting television time.

GambleAB and then Spirit Rock this week.

Was there not also someone named KrazyKanuk on last night's event? I'm certain I've played with that guy, but I can't remember when or where.
