Default Who want to bet on ME tonight???

is the sports book I've used for 8+ years, and they opened a poker room a while back. It's another Party Skin (same exact site).

If you don't have an account there, you might as well make one - they offer the standard 20% deposit bonus up to $100:

Anyway, they have a $10k freeroll tonight with 1366 players registered. The cool thing is you can BET on any of the players registered.

Right now, Rogue23 is a 201:1 longshot. I like those odds

I agree... I think it's really cool.

For a tourney this big, it's kinda pointless... but for smaller ones, I tihnk it's a great idea. They don't do it all the time, but they do it somewhat regularly.

And as a sportsbook goes, I haven't had a complaint yet.

I honestly haven't played there for a long time (since it's the same as Party and Empire), but it was an easy $100 deposit bonus, and yes, that's how I had to cash out. I wouldn't exactly call that a pain in the ass though. For $100 of free money, I figured it was worth a few extra mouse clicks.

Well, with 1366 people in the tourney tonight, I wouldn't say these are "nice odds." I o think with 201 chances though, I would take this thing down at least once.

Oh, btw.... if the person you bet one (me) makes the final table, you get your money back. That I like...

Default Huh...

I was just thinking.... if you put $50 on me tonight and I take it down (yeah, right), you just won yourself a seat in the 2005 WSOP!

TalkingPoker, maybe this would be a great way to get people to back you for the 2005 WSOP. Instead of asking people to back you for $100s, you could ask for a small donation, like $5. Then you could take all that money and bet it on yourself.

Oh wait, small little problem with my strategy... you need to win.

Good luck tonight.

Intertops, another Party skin? Saweeeet. From your experience, do they offer monthly redeposit bonuses?

Are you able to install with Party / Empire already installed on your computer, or do you have to get fancy and set it up at a "clean" computer. Send me a PM in case I miss your reply. (Or, just message me on AIM.)

I'll answer here, in case others are interested too.

They do not offer reload bonuses regularly - at least not nearly as much as Party/Empire. They do other things though, like the $50k in freerolls they have going on this weekend, plus this bet on Poker stuff, etc. They also have many small guaranteed and money added tourneys. This would be a great site for tourney players with small bankrolls, IMO.

It was a LONG time ago when I set this account up, and (coincidently) it was on a different computer, so I didn't have any problems. Not sure if that's required or not. You could try, I guess....

Quick little update.... 1366 players started. We're down to 150 now. Average stack is about 9000. I have about 14000.

140 places get paid, but the money isn't worth playing for until well after that. This has been fun though... good practice for huge MTTs too. I really like these things. I should play in them a lot more often.

Yes, you did........ check 'em out and see for yourself:

BTW... I finished something like 117th. QQT flop and my AT ran in to AQ (30,000 chip pot). At least he had me the whole way.

As I said, it was a long time ago and I set it up on a clean computer by coincidence. I'm not sure if that's necessary or not. If it is, just do it like you did when you set up Empire. Clean computer, different email address.
