The Patriots could've been had this season, as listless as the offense has been, but both the Jets and Dolphins blew it.

Sorry, RD, Pats clinch next week, as we welcome your Jags with some real New England winter weather.

Not that I expect the Pats to go deep in the playoffs.

They need a new offensive coordinator (Charlie??? - I mean Weis is from the next town over from where I grew up.)

As sick as it sounds The JEts are actually in a better position for the playoffs now than they were at this time last week.

Going into this past week we need loses from Jax Mia and Balt and to win out.

Now we need loses from Jax Mia and EITHER Balt or Den and to win out

Somehow we've actually improved our position...

FYI The Pats knock off the Jags next week, Miami loses to either Pitt or Houston, and either Den will lose to Philly or Balt will lose to Pitt

This means if we figure out a way to win games that we're ahead in with under 2 minutes to go (FIVE of Seven losses were suffered in this way) and win out we will be in

I think we keep it close, but with zero pass rush, this game is a forgone conclusion. But, we had a better season than most expected and are a very young team.

Chances of the Jets winning out: 0%, give or take 0%.

Chance of the Jets losing out: 70%, give or take 30%.

Indy probably won't be playing their starters for more than a quarter. cincy is not as good as their record. If the O can get their shit together the D will keep them in the game

Not sure about the bolded part. The Indy coaching staff may want to keep the starters out and stay healthy for the playoffs, but if Peyton wants 16-0, he WILL overrule the coaches. He runs the team.

How about I give you 2:1 that the Jets don't win out. My $100 vs your $50?

The Jets are getting back 2:1 money line for just the Colt game... seems like a bad bet 2:1 for 2 wins instead of one

For a guy who thinks they can win out, I figured you'd be all over the 2:1 odds!

And you call yourself a fan.

I think they can, Im just not foolish enough to bet 2 games for 2:1 when I can bet 1 for 2:1 instead. Talk about - EV

Zy's Jets just made Mercury Morris' season. <sound of champagne corks popping in Miami>

I'm strangely conflicted.
