Default NFL Week 2

I'll start with a comment on the "Border War" as it's been called in the past - Pats at Jets. Everybody is focused on Moss vs. Revis, but I think there's a bigger matchup in this game: Mangold vs. Wilfork. Both got the big money in the offseason, and the winner of this nose-to-nose duel will have more impact on who wins the division than the so-called "skill" positions. Should be fun to watch. Now for the picks.

KC +3 @ Cleve

I don't believe in the Browns or Mangenius. I also think that if I look at the game as Jake Delhomme vs Matt Cassel, I give the edge to Cassel

@ Dal -7 vs Chicago

The Bears should've lost last week to the Lions. The 'boys are better on both sides of the ball than Detroit.

I was torn between dropping one of these two games and taking the Colts -5 at home vs the Giants. In the end, I decided that looked like a sucker spread. I wonder what the bookies know about the Colts that we don't.

SUICIDE PICK: Green Bay

Buffalo sucks and there's no other prime time to pick the Packers until week 13.

I absolutely love Carolina -3. Tampa looked so incredibly bad last week vs Cleveland it wasn't even funny. Clev literally handed them the game. Carolina should score often against their D and they didn't have the firepower to compete.... so much to the point where I've gambled big and avoided the easy pick (GB) and taken Carolina in my suicide pool as well, since I don't think I'll be able to use them again

Washington +3. I think this is a serious "trap game" where everyone is gunna be riding Houston after their Indy victory. Washington is a home dog, looked good last week and Houston isn't as good as they appeared.

Clev -1. I hate taking bad teams but Another game where I think everyone is gunna be riding KCs bandwagon after last weeks victory. Cleveland made mistakes in the redzone and turned the ball over, but if not for shooting themselves should;ve beat TB by 2 TDs at least. KCs victory is extremely misleading, as they got absolutely torched on passing yards but were lucky not to allow points, and had 2 of their scores on freakish plays, a special teams Run back and a long run

Minn -6. Miami barely squeaked by a very bad Buffalo team. Minn lost last week and needs a win to avoid an 0-2 start. there D held the O powered Saints to only 14 points.

As terrible as these picks turned out (0-3-1), they didn't have to be. Minn had 2 turnovers in the redzone drastically effecting the game and the Browns and Chiefs were equally shitty (hence the don't take bad teams approach). Skins game could've gone either way, and wow did two different TB teams show up this week and last week. Thats the one game that I just eat my words on

Still alive in suicide.

record for the year 2-2 -0.2 units

How can the Bears be 2-0 with such a bad O-line?
