Default Table preferences anyone?

I have played for real money at Party only. I cashed in 3 times for 50 and out twice for 50 so I am down 50. However, in there i was up 300 at one point from like 2 weeks of solid effort. Then i got gayed, you know the skunking by calling stations, out of all my money in 2 days. Granted i was playing on emotion after a while so it went quickly.

Anyhoo, point is I want to deposit again and start somewhere where I can steadily make the money. What does everyone recommend keeping in mind I have played lots of poker for about a year and a half. .50/1 limit? $25 no limit? $5 sit and gos? multitalbles?

I want to do my rounds for the deposit bonuses and play at the same time. Just curious as to everyones favorite "settings"...

Whenever you have a low bankroll, I would recommend doing some bonus whoring...take advantage of the bonus offers available...make a bit deposit and cash out a lot of it, so you won't over do it. Probably best to check out hte bonus codes available from here.

Since you're a low limit player you should look at sites wtih easy to clear bonuses. Whenever Party has a reload, they usually have one of the easy to clear clearing bonuses, I think absolute has the same type of bonus to clear. I believe for a low limit player, it's best to avoid Ultimate bet, Poker room, and full tilt if you're trying to clear a huge deposit amount.

I think the best way to rebuild a small roll would be to play the .05/.1 NL tables on PS. Although I have only played on them with friends to goof off, I have see people crush this game with a small roll for very respectable profits.

If you can play decent NL ring (ABC type poker), you should be able to turn 50 into a decent roll rather quickly. Then go play some other limit at another site like PP.

Cheers,

Default hey

gonna have to disagree with everyone start on micro-limit .05/.10 get your bankroll up to $100.00 should take you about a week. Then jump into the quarter games easy money there in no time you should have a healthy bankroll. No limit is more for people that have a established bankroll and can take the big hit and still have enough to bounce back. Honestly cant believe someone would suggest NL table if someone has a limited bankroll. If you need any help in limit let me know be happy to talk to you about it but if you need help in no limit better to go somewhere else ....oh yea and pick pokerstars those limit players suck.

I tend to agree with Brian. Start very low, maybe not .05/.10, but maybe .10/20, or even .25/.50; build it up, then move up. I was able to do this with $10 on several sites, cash out, consolidate and I'm all the way up into the big time now. Yup $1/2, lol. Big for me anyway!
