stuck in Denver
Beat-We flew out of Milwaukee at 7pm last night with our two kids, age 4 and 2. The plan was that if we brought their carseats, they would crash on the plane. We had a layover in Denver for 50 minutes, and then onto San Francisco. It was worth it to lug those fucking hunks of plastic around if the kids slept. My daughter exclaimed with excitement as I buckled her in "I am staying up all night!". The kid did well, not crashing out until around 12:30am. And our flight was delayed in departure, so we missed our connection in Denver. Got the family to a shitty airline comped hotel at 1:15am local time, put in a 4:30 wake up call to catch our 5am shuttle back to the airport to catch our 7am flight out of Denver.
Brag-got the kids and my wife to sleep, and then fired up Full tilt Thank god the shitty hotel has wireless. I figured that since sleep is all fucked up anyway, might as well play some poker. I logged my best session of the month. NIce.
Beat-I got "STuck in Lodi" by CCR stuck in my head. Denver is so bad that Lodi>>>Denver.
