Default Stars sng's

Anyone played the Stars HU sng's where the blinds dont increase? Are these new? They start at $10.50+.50 and $21+1. Blinds are always 15/30! Seems like they could work well for a conservative solid player (which I hope I am or will become) Or do you think they will take too long to play, and wont really be worth any added edge?

Also, what do you think the difference is in overall playing ability in the 5.50 vs. 11 vs. 22. I read elsewhere where players said they thought the play in the $11 sng's was considerably better than either the $5.50's OR the $22's! They seemed a bit odd to me; just wondering if anyone has noticed anything similar.

Thanks

theres a big difference between $11 and $22 IMO.

Also i dont fancy the 15/30 fixed blinds. My game HU is more based on stealing pots and blinds at higher levels, and positioning myself where i can race for a win and still be in a goos position if i lose, so ive never played one.

they seem more for the player who is steadier.

Ya thats why I think that these MIGHT be decent for me.

And what is the difference between the $11 and $22, IYO? Like I said I found it odd because these couple of posters said they felt the $11 were much harder than the $22 (and $5.50). I would think that they would get incrementaly harder.

IMO the $5s are people trying out HU sngs, and the ppl who like to lose money from what ive found, they base their game on racing for a win. The $11s are a step up a few ppl can actually play, most of the fish will afford a $5 or $10 buyin, but a $20 looks a bit large to them.

From the HU SnGs i used to play when i could actually play HU 100% better, i found the $20s to have a higher class of player, knowing strategy pot odds e.t.c whereas the $11s didnt

Thanks for the replies.
I guess I should have clarified my questions though, sorry. In regards to the quality of play at different levels, I was asking about regular 9 man sng's. Not any of the HU ones (regular blinds or fixed NL blinds). It was just that a couple of posters at one of the larger forums stating the $10+1's were very difficult, even moreso than a few levels up. Probably nothing to this really.
I agree with your opinions about the fixed blind HU NL sng's though. JD, I find your comment especially interesting. You are obviously a very good NL player. And for you to say that a real good player, who knows how he should play these, wouldnt be able to be patient enough to take full advantage.........the average espn watching, sng donk, would probably pull his hair out after 20 minutes and push w/ the krablar (and suck out on my AKs!)

thanks guys
