Sonics vs. Suns

Two best teams in the NBA (is that really true?) face off on Friday night. Who do you bet on? For me, if the Sonics win this one, all doubt will be erased from my mind, but as I've underestimated these guys all year long, so I'd bet on the Suns. Jimmy, what do you think?

Suns all the way... Sonics wont continue to shoot 30-40% from 3PT range all year long.

i'm going with the suns on this one. the sonics uncanny ability to shoot from deep will keep them in it, but i have a feeling the matrix and amare have huge games.

Seattle by 1 or 1.5. I agree it is going to be close, and that O/U of 217 looks right on as well. Here in Seattle, this is being treated as a HUGE game, and a indication of how the rest of the season will go. Take this one, it builds confidence, and they never look back. Lose at home, and people think you are overrated, and the wheels could fall off.

My final prediction: Suns by 3, and I'd take the under, but just barely.

After the 1st, it's a hell of a game. Any hoops fans not watching this should be. Phoenix isn't bad, but the Sonics are amazing. 37 in the first quarter alone! Looks like both of my calls are going to be wrong, and I'm glad I'm a fan but not a big sports gambler
