Default Win Percentage of Flops seen.

I am looking at my stats on bet365 since I started yesterday and was disturbed by my 43% seen flop percentage. However, my Win percentage per flops seen is 40%. I don't think that is bad, in fact I think its pretty good. Or is it? What is your WPPFS "supposed to be"? Is there a number for this?

I still don't have PT so keep that in mind when talking to me.

That is pretty damn good, IMO. I don't have PT either, but my stats are usually the same. Regardless of how long I play, be it 2 hours or 10 hours, I always see 30-35% of the flops and win 30-35% of those hands.

You are winning 16% of the hands you see. I could live with that because you are winning more hands than others at your table which is the point .

Default Get Pt, Now!!!!!

If your a serious cash game player who wants to deal with their results in a realistic manner, YOU MUST have PT or keep very extensive records. BTW with the WPPFS that high and a win percentage that high your almost certainly on an upswing. Enjoy It.

Well since it's just from yesterday that stat is almost pointless imo, but in the long term the numbers that pshabi has in my pokertracker thread seem to make sense.

I second chad's opionion on pokertracker. Combine that with the free heads up display, and you'll wonder why you've played without it. It's really necessary so you can't fool yourself in the long run. You get a free 1000 hands no commitment, at least try that out if you haven't yet.

Agreed. Scroll down to the bottom of this page. Click the banner. Tada... you're all set.

At the very least, as nutbag said, download the trial and get 1000 hands of data in there.

Come on guys, this isnt a get PT or "read a book fungus" thread, I was wondering if there is a good WPPFS (wrong acronym but oh well) to shoot for...
Like buckets gave me his. Im interested in what everyone elses is, mine obviously is skewed because its only a day (then again it is bet365), so you folks with PT whats yours!

That's not what he's looking for. He wants W$WSF - Won Money When Saw Flop (Percent).

I didn't read this entire thread (still in celebration mode with the buddies), but this stat means dick all IMO. It all depends on what you play. NL, PL, limit, these numbers could vary significantly.

I think you are right sometimes. It varies too much between sites and styles, but I think if you stick with one style, say NL 6max, I would think its a valid stat no?

It all depends on the player you are.

A tight aggressive player will win less % wise, but even then, it depends on limits and who you're playing against.

A loose player may win more % wise, but may lose a lot of coin. I don't like this particular stat very much.

I've played sometimes where I'll win 15% of flops, and have a very profitable session. Other times, I'll play and win 35% of flops seen, only to realize that my time would have been spent wisely elsewhere.
