Angry MVP Sportsbook is off my prefered list

and on the shit list big time!!!!!! I move funds around from time to time in reputable sportsbooks to take advantage of bonuses and what not (hey they offer it I don't ask for it) and I moved some money to MVP sportsbook a month ago since I had used them in the past and liked them, boy have things changed there!! The following is actually what happened, so if you need a good sportsbook don't hesitate to ask me, but stay away from this one now.....

1. Deposit money via neteller under the printed agreement that 5x rollover of funds was required though you could withdraw profit at any time with no penalty.

2. Rollover my money 10x and look to request a withdraw, but you can't over the internet or e-mail, you gotta call and talk to an operator whos first language is not english.

3. Was told I have to wait 30 days before any withdraw or I lose the bonus money and transfer fees, the print on the banner was wrong (BULLSHIT if you ask me)

4. Wait 30 days and call for withdraw, was told I couldn't because they needed a copy of my drivers liscense. WTF they never did before.

5. E-mail a copy of my drivers liscense, call the next day for a withdraw and was told they never got the e-mail, WTF.

6. Run down to the local pharmacy and fax a copy of my liscense.

7. Call back for my money, no problem it will be in your firepay account in a few days.
Me= I used neteller to deposit and thats where I want my withdraw
Them= No your prior deposit was with Firepay
Me= THAT WAS ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO!!
Them=Sorry thats the policy
Me= Whatever, just send me my money

8. Go to the doctor and come home to find my wife on the phone with a rep from MVP sportsbook telling her I need to call them. This is HORRIBLE customer service in my opinion, for me it doesn't matter because my wife is well aware of my gaming activity, but for some this could cause major problems. Yea, if your keeping things from your wife you already have problems, I know, but it is not Hectors place to rat someone out.

9. Call back and was told the e-mail in my account does not match my firepay e-mail, well WTF, thats what I used 2 years ago, you said so yourself and I have had the same service since this neighborhood got cable access in 01.

10. Get the e-mail thing straightened out which was no easy task considering the language issue and had my money in my account in about 4 hours.

Overall this is a good book and I did get paid, I just don't like jumping through flaming hoops to get at MY money, and the fact they were willing to talk to my wife upsets me.

Just sharing what happened and would appreciate anyone else sharing any experience they have had at sportsbooks be it good or bad.

If you want a good book give me a shout, I know a few good ones.

i've used sportsfanatik.com, and they were very efficient in their payouts.
quick question, was this the first time you cashed out from mvp? I had to fax a copy of my drivers license to sportsfanatik...as i've had to do at a couple poker sites too....the first time i made a cashout. After that though, it was quick and painless

I had cashed out before, a couple years ago and never had them request a copy of my ID. I hear other sites do it now as well and it doesn't really bother me except they could have told me that when I made a deposit (which they didn't need ID for, hhmm). The other stuff was a giant sized pain in the ass thought for sure. Like I said I did get my money and thats the bottom line, I will just play elsewhere though for sure.

Yeah, these books, and poker sites, dont seem to have problems at all taking deposits from people...it's just when they try to cashout that," we need to protect the security of our players" and what not. But, in an unregulated business, I guess we have to expect that.

I'm waiting for the day some politician gets the balls to attempt and legalize and regulate online poker and gambling. Think of all the tax dollars this country is losing....

Use english bookies. It's regulated there and there are no problems.
I've used William Hill and Bet365 for about 5 years. Never had a problem ever.
Of couse, I'm Canadian so I never too many problems when it comes to sports betting

Kind of off-topic but is sports betting profitable, or is it kinda like a coinflip since your just betting on who's going to win.

sports betting can be profitable but so can playing poker. they kind of go hand and hand since you could bet lets say USC vs Penn St and go
'allin' on USC and Penn St. (72o) ends up winning. Same thing with poker all you can do is get your money in with the best of it and go from there.
