Beat: Adding $10 for the bonus, coming home early from a nice night out so I could play in this, and then sitting there and being berated and called names by a bunch of people I've never met or even spoken to because Cali didn't know what slowrolling was the other night and apparently told them how awful I was or something for telling her that's not cool in the league event.

Jesus. WTF, people?

This will be the last of these I participate in (or add money to!!!). I have no desire to "socialize" with people like that. I'm sure most of these people are nice, but a few of them really, REALLY gave them all a bad name.

To name names (in case you are curious Cali, and didn't see them going off on me):
7-2aintbad
vanessaface

I still have no idea what they were going on about, honestly.... I think they got upset because I defended bunny when they were trashing her and she wasn't even there.

GL.

Default To the members and admin of this forum:

I'd like to apologize for the drama that went on tonight.

I wish Cali could have warned me just a little as to what to expect. If she had, I would not have bothered rushing home to register for this.

Hope you and your friends enjoyed yourselves Cali. This will be my last tourney event.

now why on earth wouldnt you like me???

if its because of tonight, i apologize, here in the public forum

i said some things i shouldnt have, and let my emotions run over a bit, i may have called you an ass a couple of times, but that was just out of anger

im not one to hold a grudge, just felt disrespected a bit whhen i was defending my friend and you didnt care to look at what i had to show

im putting this whole slow rolling incident in the past and wont mention it again, but i expect the same from other forum members... if this was settled at the game as you mentioned, then the wise cracks in the melting pot thread where way out of line, and they should not be made again

i enjoy this forum and competing against TP players, and i would like to stick around,as i feel that i have thing to offer as well as TP has alot to offer

so, lets let bygones be bygones and move on to better things

ps bunny i said some thing about you that i want to apologize for also, im sure in the confusion of the moment there were some misunderstandings , and me calling you a liar was probably part of that...certainly we saw the events differently , but you were just saying what you thought....so , sorry for saying you lied

Thank you for the apology. Accepted.

As for me not wanting to hear what you had to say, it wasn't that. It was that everything had been (in my mind) resolved already, and I saw no need for you to go sending me an entire tourney's HH that I didn't care to dig through. All I was saying was that it was already in the past and done with, so there was no need to dig it back up agiain.

It's amazing how such a small, simple misunderstanding can turn into such a huge ordeal. It's a real shame Cali wouldn't let it drop (during or certainly) after the league event the other night and had to bring other forums' members into something they weren't even a part of... Had that not happend, tonight's tourney might have been fun, but for me, it was definitely ruined after the first 20 minutes.

TP - thank you for trying to defend me and sorry for the way they turned on you, instead.

Cali - I was going to let this be, but I can't. I think what you did last night was very immature & ruined a good night for some of us (mainly me).

You took a happening of something that occured from this forum chat at the tables and went and shoot your mouth off to other members of the other forums. If that wasn't bad enough, you then invited me to your tournament (yes...you read right, please read above where you asked me to pre-register - same thing as an invite, imo) knowing full well all the drama that was going to arise from my being there.

In all honesty, I believe you purposely set me up for this.

That being said...I do owe PLC an apology for the remark I made about you picking up on their bad table manners. I still believe it to be true, (remember, I used to play with them) but I should have minded my own business and not try to ruin their name in front of other members of a this or any other forum. My mistake and for this please accept my apology.

I accept your apology, although I don't believe we've ever met before...have we?

I could be mistaken, but don't think I was at the tables at the time you said what you said, however ...apology is accepted. May I ask what your PS id was?

I want to make one last statement regarding this whole situation. Cali is a member of all the forums who were represented in the "melting pot tourneys". She did'nt set up Bunny for what transpired last night. Bunny was invited, as all members of all the 5 forums were. Cali was taken back, and shocked that Bunny would go off on another forum (PLC) the way she did in our league game on Monday. Being a member of PLC also, Cali mentioned what Bunny said to another member of PLC. They were rightfully offended by what was said, considering Bunny may have had an axe to grind, and confronted her about it in last nights tourny. All I can say is be careful who you talk about. Do you really believe any forum would encourage thier members to slowroll? I've been a member there for 8 months and have never even heard the issue discussed at all, so please show some proof of you accusation. You Bunny, brought this all on yourself.

Which brings us to the issue that Cali slowrolled VeryMoonFunk in our league game the other night. She has been playing poker about 5 yrs now and has never slowrolled, and anyone who has played with her for any length of time, at any forum, can verify this.
If anything she acts too quickly IMO, without looking out for possible str8s and flushes before calling bets.

In this case she had a connection problem, which VMF,Bunny and TP don't seem to want to believe, but is the truth. Cali was greatly hurt by accusation and inuendo put out in the league chat that night. I don't know anyone that likes being called a liar.

I just hope we can all let it go and move on.

Jesus Christ, Ref. This is the part that is killing me. No one thinks she slowrolled (Here, let me bold this for those of you who can't seem to get this through your fucking skulls: NO ONE THINKS SHE SLOWROLLED!), but a few of you - including people I've never even met from an entire other forum - won't let it drop. *I'm* the one that figured out that she didn't know what slowrolling was (despite me literally typing the definition for her 4 times), for God's sake! The part she "lied" about was when she was initially defending the slowrolling. And while it wasn't an intentional lie, since she didn't know what she was admitting to doing, for the rest of us, it certainly looked like she was admitting to it. Only much, much, much later did I figure that she didn't even know what she was talking about and was just going along with the flow, but it looked like she was defending something that's not very cool.

And bringing another group of people into this was just stupid, and totally unnecessary. My God, can you people not let this shit die? It was a simple misunderstanding that got blown out of proportion. None of us even know what "PLC" is (well, at least I don't), so it's not like what bunny said caused them any harm. Who cares??? But then taking those few comments made by ONE PERSON and running over there to start up all this drama..... come on.

The next thing I know, I'm getting harassing PMs telling me Cali didn't slowroll and I need to look at the HHs for the entire tourney again and blah blah blah and all this bullshit for something that in my mind was done with DAYS earlier. And then I'm freaking blasted again in the chatbox of this tourney last night.

For fuck's sake. Let it go, people!!!!!

Tell you what, you have my permission to go to all four of the other forums who were playing last night and completely bash this forum. Say whatever you want. Make up lies. Tell them whatever they do, do not EVER visit TalkingPoker.com EVER in their life (be sure to include a link for them to not click on), because it's such a horrible place with so many horrible people and they'll probably get VD if they come here. Whatever. I promise you that the members here (well, at least the Admin) couldn't care less and certainly won't go running around starting up shit with complete strangers because of it.

Maybe then we can be "even" and you people can move on.

Poker > Bullshit Drama.

Ok first off all i would like to appologise to anybody i upset last night. But i want to make 1 thing very clear when somebody tells outright lies about my site i will defend it.If somebody had said talking poker taught a player to slowroll i am sure you would also be offended. Hopefully this whole episode will now be put to rest as a moderator and founder member of plc i can say it is from our side.Hopefully the games will now get back to the fun get together they are supposed to be.

I just said I'd be fine if people said you'd get venerial diseases from visiting TalkingPoker.com, so obviously I'd be perfectly fine if people saod that our members slowroll. I certainly wouldn't launch an all out war over it.

But I'm glad you guys are finally getting over this. It will all be ok. I promise.

Welcome to the forum drama.
