FPS Fancy play syndrome: Describes a player who deviates from established logical strategies in an attempt to trick his or her opponent. (often with negative results)

Backing/Staking Terms
BAP An acronym that stands for “Buy A Piece”. Investors buy a piece of a player. The investment provides a bankroll that is then used to play a set series of events (generally tournaments and sit n’ go’s). ex. 15 shares of $10 each are sold to allow the player to play 6 $25 tournaments. ). The profit sharing is generally done as a stakeback arrangement. (see stakeback)
Cake A form of guarantee on a stake. When a player offers cake on a stake, he or she promises to pay back any losses from the stake off of the top of future profits.
Heeb A goal structured staking agreement. Investors in a Heeb provide the player with a bankroll which is then applied at the discretion of the player. Heebs generally terminate after a set period of time (3 weeks, 1 month, etc.) or after monetary threshold (ex. 200% original investment). The profit sharing is generally done as a stakeback arrangement. (see stakeback)
Stakeback A staking arrangement that returns the original investment before dividing up the remainder between the shareholders and the player.
Stakeback +50/50 This is a standard staking deal. If the player cashes, the initial investors get their original stake back off of the top. The remainder is split between the player and the stakeholder. In a 50/50 arrangement the 50% that goes to the shareholders is then divided based on the percentage of stake held by each investor. If the player does not cash, then no monies are owed to any party, by and party.

SWA Based on a forum member's storied history, this is a descriptor of radical play and/or illogical behavior. (ie. He took a bad beat and went SWA from there)
