I like how JD hasn't played yet, and he's clobbering us all.

We're the best 6 maxers EVER!

I just checked..... I have had exactly one session of 5/10 6 max worse than this... EVER. And I should have the record very soon.

THAT is an achievement in itself, right there.

Ok, boys... here's something for you to shoot for. I actually had this back to only -$450, but was at a REALLY juicy table with two HUGE donks, so naturally, they whooped on me pretty good.

BTW, I actualkly tracked myself at 1 hand and $65 worse than this, but can't explain the difference.... I'm almost sure I'm right too, based on my bankroll on the site.

Maybe a connection problem during a (very bad) Hand being written? I know.... I'll have PArty email me my last 100 and import those. If it happens to be in there, that will catch it, otherwise, I don't know what to do. Just forget it, I guess....?

The HH Request / Import worked (2 new hands, in fact). I'm too honest for my own good.

Damn, that's one hell of a bad session.

We are brutal.

Why am I so tight? General starting hand guide anyone? I've kinda been following the one Pshabi posted a long time ago, but I'm still way too tight.

Hmmmm.

I would venture you aren't stealing or defending enough. Also, 3-betting w/ position with med. pairs. For instance, if Rogue raised UTG, I'd 3-bet someone with his range with a lot of hands:

77 on up
AJ - AK
KQ even

I find myself picking up a lot of pots UI with aggression against "solid" players that way. Remember, most of the time, you both miss the flop.

You're going to have to get used to showing down more. Knowing when to let the rope out, call down, and let them hang themselves.

Post hands. I had a couple emailed to me and I'll be posting them later.

Good idea. Opening up the HH window after a memorable hand and emailing it is the best way of picking out hands I think. I had a few from last nite that bugged me, but it will be a pain to dig through PT looking for them after the fact.

For sure. I do this all the time. The problem is, all of mine were bad beats type crap last night, and really not very many that I felt I played wrong or had any big decidions to make.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I played badly too (it would be REALLY hard to lose that much on just bad beats), but I mostly just had a terrible run of cards and don't think I had all that much worth discussing. I'll post more throughout this competition, for sure.

Oh, btw.... it will probably take me 2000 or more of my remaining hands, but I will get back in the green. Eventually.

OK, here's some REALLY good news for y'all. I'm not in the contest, but I've logged about 450 hands and am....

up! About $250.

So just be thankful for that. K? K.

No news to you guys, but the swings are HUUUUUUUUUUGE in this game. Unreal stuff. My favorite is KK getting cracked by J9 on runner-runner two-pair.

What's going to be great about this is people are going to see me reporting everyday for the next two weeks. Now, some of you non-believers are going to see the rollercoaster ride on a daily basis. Hopefully, I can have a nice 100 bet swing for everyone to "oooh and ahhhh" at. Up would be nice. Down would be funny.

Anyway, round 2 starting right now. I've got 4500 hands left.

I know the swings of this game better than anyone... well, I should... but I'm literally breaking my personal worst records here. Down 100 BBs? Try 114. BAM.

What... the... fuck?

Combine all the second best hands with all the bad beats (5 outers, 2 outers, gutshots and everyone's favorite - the runner runners) PLUS me playing badly (I've made a number of one bet errors ON TOP OF me playing too loose preflop and getting myself into trouble), and it's a disaster.

I think I may take a day or two off and try to come back with a clear head. It's actually going to be tough for me to get back to even right now. Even with my average win rate for another 3600 hands, I'd still be a bit short.

Damn....

Unofficially NOT IN THE CONTEST, whimp!

Damn, I suck. My new goal is to get to $1 by the end, so I can put my $50 in play.

Piece of cake.

Something I found myself paying attention to was how long it took me to be dealt all 169 different starting hands. I finall was dealt AQs for the first time after 1400+ hands tonight. I quite a bit later...

With 1451 hands now in the books, here are a few interesting stats:

-I'm down a bit over $1000 total.
-I'm at -7.27 BB/100. I'm usually close to +3. That's a 10BB/100 = $1 per HAND swing!!!
-I won a whopping $29 total on the 5 times I've had AA.
-My highest NET is $199.50 with JJ.
-66 is just 50 cents behind.
-My highest average is $41.67 with 99.
-QQ is next at $31.
-My lowest net is -$178 with 65s. Hmmmm... am I playing that now and not even realizing it?
-22 is next at -$166.
-Lowest average is 88 and 76s (hmmm again!) tied at -$26.67 per hand.
-I have paid $300 in rake.
-I actually made one four of a kind and on straight flush - both in my last 50 hands.

Stats are fun, but the numbers are a lot cooler when they are green.... there is just so very much red right now!

After a peak low in the $1200 neighborhood, I am FINALLY mounting my comeback.

Meanwhile, shit like is not helping. Are you kidding me?

LOL.

I had a session last night that saw me swing to -450 through 630 hands, only to get my losses back in about 25 hands and end up -8. I'll post an update later tonight on my progress. I'm in the "green," but not by a whole lot.
