Default Antonio Esfandiari

Anyone been able to watch this guy play and win a key pot? I love that wave thing he does with his hands, really makes me laugh. Looks so silly that it tickles me.

i think that it is a little much, but anything someone does that makes hellmuth go nuts, is good in my book. the first time i ever saw antonio phil was bitching at him about it the whole time, which made the broadcast that much better.

Antonio always makes me chuckle, and when he was pissing off Hellmuth it did make the broadcast better.

him and phil laak are good friends, which is fitting considering they both showboat a lot. I don;t really like or dislike the guy, but I cant fault him for making himself marketable. With the way poker is blowing up in the mainstream, it never hurts to get some endorsements.

I think Antonio doing that puts a lot of players on tilt, especially when it was a large pot that he won. It would definately piss me off, especially if it happened to be a suck out.

i think that by breathing phils air, or having the audacity to sit down at his table, pisses him off. it always amuses me the way that he bitches about bad play by others. i know that he does make better decisions as a whole than the majority of other players do, but for the most part the suckouts he endures seem to be when he is a slight favorite, not an overwhelming one.

i absolutely cant stand phil laak. watching him at the wpt invitational was just painful. i dont care if what he does puts people on tilt or not, it is just plain annoying to see, and i am sure that playing at a table with him is just a brutal experience.

I think hes a pretty good player. Like his chip tricks too. He did pretty good in the main WCOOP event and took 4th this week on PS 350K!

i dont doubt at all that he can play a bit, it just gets on myt nerves some of the stuff he does. he isnt too far over the top, but i wouldnt be surprised to find out that he loses significant amounts in side games, and tries to stay afloat with tournaments. he, along with players like laak and evelyn ng, seem to be television creations, and i will be interested in seeing how long they last.
