Default PokerTek Heads-Up Challenge Game

Was at a bar on vacation that had For some reason, the game was on demo or something when we were there. It was playing for free. The waitress came by and said, "Oh, it's finally working. It's been in here for 2 months and no one has been able to get it to work. Anyway, my wife and I played it for a couple of hours one night. The game is pretty damn cool. The link shows all of the features of the game but it is about as real as it gets when playing heads up against a real opponent. You could easily host a 8 person tourney with it for real cash. It also had a monitor hooked up with a TV style presentation above the table for the bar to see, complete with %s and what not. This would be sweet to have in the home.

They had these at the WSOP this summer, but you had to pay to play them. And I assumed it wouldn't be cool to drop down a couple hundo on the table and see who stepped up to play, so I didn't bother.

They did look cool though.

Yeah, JD.

It's a bar game. Probably the same appeal as shoving money into Golden Tee. It's the same technology pokertek uses in the actualy electronic poker tables they make for live gambling. It'd be easy to get 8 dudes together and head to a bar for a tourney. The "TV" style of presentation would make it fun to get drunk and do that. Think of the money it costs to play the game as the juice.

Not sure if it's still free, TP, but you can play it close to your house. I was visiting my mom when we played it. Siggy's All-American Bar on I95 and Malabar Road.

Pretty cool I guess, BuckHunter games are still the best arcade bar games ever as far as I'm concerned.

Loser buys shots or a pitcher and by the end of the night u dn wtf ur shooting at. Couple weeks ago after a cardinals game we went and played and I used the gun to fake shoot some random dude in the face that apparently he didn't like and resulted in a few knocked over bar tables and a banning from Hot Shots.
