Super Bowl Betting - Colts vs. Bears...

So, where' the action? Right now, I'm liking the Bears +7. Go Hester, go!!!

Every year, I made probably 30-50 additional small crazy bets on the Super Bowl too... I'll update you guys on what I went with come game day.

Actually. I just took a peek at what is offering and check this out - They have a "You Can't Lose" Coin Toss bet available for the first 1000 customers only. It pays BETTER than Even money! Max stake is $55 (total), so if you bet $27.50 on Heads and $27.50 on Tails (for example), you are guaranteed to win a cool $2.75. Cha-ching! Of course, if you've got a little gamble in you, you could just put the whole $55 on side or the other.

It's certainly no , but hey, free money is free money. I'll take it!

They don't have tons of crazy bets available just yet, but I'm sure they will by this weekend.

The most interesting bet that I've seen is (if you want to gamble)

There's no max bet on this either

and although you're risking 7.5:1, this is almost a guarentee

before the lines came out i made a straight up bet with a friend, no line, taking the bears to his colts, we couldnt figure a line till vegas did one so we each took a team. Think of my happiness when i saw normally id have got 6.5 for my bears

I think the colts will win, i wont be making any more bets on the SB, except of course a few crazy dollar bets on some weird shit happening.

Bottom line is Peyton Manning vs Rex Grossman. Sure, teams have won the Super Bowl with mediocre QB's, but I can't off the top of my head think of a Team with a below average QB beating a team with an elite QB in the big game.

This will be a more typical Super Bowl. The game will be over before the 4th quarter.

Colts 34 - 13

Kickers will be a non-factor, which is good because I'm still steamed at Vinitieri for losing me a lunch bet with his 1st quarter chip-shot miss in XXXVIII

I have $100 riding on the Colts straight up, finals of a pool I'm in. Other woman has the Bears.

Bowmans gave me a free $25 bet so naturally I took the Bears ML. Either way I'm walking out with $50.

I'm in the best "Squares" Pool ever. It's $210 per square, and they actually have enough demand to run TWO of these every year. I've got 60% of Bears 3-2 and 40% of Bears 6-5.

Here are the rules and ridiculous payouts:

Keep in mind, EVERY scoring change counts. So if a team scorews a TD and then kicks an extra point, 6-0 wins AND 7-0 wins. It's a crazy pool, with lots of payouts. The Q1+-1 through Q4+-4 part is new this year, and I'm not really a big fan of that. But it's still a fun pool.

I as you can imagine like the Bears +7. I am 5-1 in the playoffs don't plan to lose a second game. I haven't really looked at any prop bets except for the ones I have heard on TV as I usually don't mess with them. But this year since I will actually watch the whole game (hopefully) I will throw a few bucks on some props to make it interesting. I will probably go with coin flip and length of time for the national anthem since I should be good and drunk by then. Those both seem like pretty good ways to give away some money.

A really think the colts -7 is a lock. I dont think the bears def. can stop The colts high powered O and I think the Colt D will take care of grossman and as long as they contain the running game show blow them out.Well see

A friend of mine is going to Vegas, and I've given him a $100 to bet on the Bears winning straight-up. We don't know for sure, it should pay me 3-1 if I'm right.

I dunno, i really am now feeling this will be closer than you guys think. Ill be glued to it as usual, as we get the SB on terestrial TV over here so everyone (if they choose) can watch it.

I am gonna bet $1 that elvis appears to sign the national anthem though
