Default yet another reason we dont limp AA

I dont mind sometimes limping AA but if you do dont stack off with it.

Come on - you're not folding AA there either if you're him.

Yeah, but limping UTG with them at a full table... wow, that's bad.

If you are going to limp with AA, isn't that about the best time to do it? When it is most likely someone behind you will raise?

I guess it depends on the table and how likely you are to get a raiser. I don't like it because it provides a lot of people a chance to limp against you and that's no good. From UTG if he had suddenly found himself in a 5-way limped pot he's screwed.

If you're in later position you can minimize the risk of limping with less people to act and you still might get the raise you're hoping for, but generally I raise a pot when I enter it (with the obvious exceptions of course) and very rarely will I limp if I'm first in.

ive limped with AA maybe 10 times ever. All bar one from EP, the other time i completed from the small blind for shits and giggles.

de-coder, it provides a way to make more money if played correctly and you dont hit a cooler, not the opposite. If 4 ppl limp and the BB raises, your golden for a big pot.
