Default Couple things for SIR

this kinda goes back to Sir's "the new Brian" thread, dont want to start a new thread like that but had some comments I wanted to make for him. Of course anyone else is welcome to add.

In your blog you mention that you cant grind it out because you dont show the profit you would like to. I like to argue with this, I just deposited $140 on full tilt and "grinded" my way up to $700 in 2 days. Thats over $500 in 2 days, is that not enough profit for you? I can honeslty say I played within the bankroll also started at .5/.10 until had over $200 which then moved up to .10/.25 until had over $400 and then moved up to .25/.50. Now when I reached around $500 I did experiment the higher games to see how I liked them but I didnt stay long because I realized I was playing with very scared money.

Guess the point im trying to make is if you multi table your correct bankroll limits I think you can still make the money you desire to make by playing good poker. Right now im playing .25/.50 and have no desire to move up until im over $1,000. I'am in no hurry to make tons of money, to me poker is a game of patience and I sure as hell dont want a blowup like I had before. The one thing in your blog I fine ironic though is how you title your little quest "BRIAN" and im probolly the one that is most against it

I have read alot about you and I know you say your not gonna blow your roll because you are only risking $5 of it . I know you, I know you go on tilt very easy and I know there is a chance if you blow a small portion of that roll the rest of the roll might end up at $5/$10 in the desperate attempt to get it back. You got a roll now, you say you make tons of money so it dont matter but everytime you have busted out it seems like it did matter to you. Maybe its not so much of a issue of money but the fact that you feel you are playing great and just getting unlucky. Been said before poker is about variance and gotta handle the swings and gotta have disapline. These are all thing im working real hard on now to contol and get better with. Think if you also worked on them you would be a fine player.

Whatever you decide Sir good luck to you.

Maybe that entire other thread, Sir's "plan," and even him pretending to bust out and be upset about it in the past was just him messing with all of us. Maybe he was simply pulling the strings of his loyal puppets at this site, so he could get "reactions" out of us all. Wouldn't that be oh so clever of him?

I mean, you never know. I've heard some people get off on that sort of thing.

Default Ohhhhkay

Maybe I bust out because I like the attention.. lol. Ya, thats it!!! If I was going to lie about something I think I would chose something a little better.

Congrats to you Brian. I am glad your doing well. I do not know ANYONE who plays .10/.20 and makes 300BB to go up to the next level, and then does it again to make $700 in a night. Must have been one special night! Good luck. I know you have the same issues I have with bankrolls so I hope your over it and keep it this time.

Sir - I think you may have missed the joke I was making. It wasn't directed at you, but rather an admitted "baiter" - The , if you will.

Default I was lucky

I got lucky and got people to put their money in when they were drawing pretty much dead. Like you said we have alot of the same issues when it comes to bankroll. People on full tilt I guess like to bluff alot had someone push in their whole stack with J-rag on a J high board against my set, that there was a $100 pot. Its really not that hard in NL to make those if you can catch some hands. Again Sir wish you luck and hope you dont bust out.

Way to "grind," B. Way to "grind." Two whole days of playing solid poker within your bankroll. Oh, well, almost two whole days. You know, before you "experiemented."

Seriously, stop.

I think AEQ is busy with the new job these days...so, I would just like to say that I appreciate the fact that you used paragraphs in this post....not a lot of periods and commas, but paragraphs....

It's a big step.

Remember though - he spells stuff wrong on purpose (like "hospitol"), just to get a reaction out of you. Don't give him what he wants pshabi. Just chalk it up to him being illiterate and move on.

Brian asking Sir for help?

Talk about the blind leading the blind...

EDIT: Sorry... I didn't realize Brian was trying to reason / understand Sir's mentality. Brian, he makes "mid-six figures" (lol) ...

And for the record - I can't believe this post right here didn't get more praise. That's some funny shit.

Or maybe I just like that joke and the rest of you rolled your eyes.
