Default Limit Hold 'Em players - Won $ at showdown stats

What range should you be falling in here with this stat? Once I got pokertracker, and was able to import a nice sample, I realized I was struggling a little here. I'm improving, but what should I be happy with?

Default Interesting..

I am not sure what I am at now, but normally I think a winning player might only be in the 55-60% range. It does not include people folding before the showdown, or pre-flop which is a large chunk of your money too. Good question. I am interested in what other people have for a number.

Instinctively, I would think you would want to be over 50% here, but that's not true. Because of multiway action, you can be less than 50% and still be turning a profit.

I don't have an answer for this question, but would like to know if anyone else does.

Who are the Poker Tracker geeks/gurus on this board? Anyone?

I thought you were on "the track." You don't use it? You should be.

Anyway, I'm at work, but I'm gonna get my numbers when I get home. I know I'm over 50%, but didn't know what others were at.

I do use it... but that doesn't mean I know what this number should be.

Posted at 2+2 as well. I was told that low 50s is common for long term winners.

Interesting. Cause my number SUCKS. Granted, I have been on a sick, sick run lately, but my full ring number for the last 7000+ hands is about 35%. Keep in mind I am actually a winner over those hands - just .65 BB per 100 hands, but I'm still in the green.

Looking at my short seated number, where I have almost a 14,000 hand sample, my number is 38% and I make 2.89 BB per 100 hands. Of course, I didn't start using Poker tracker until after the first 1000 BBs I won playing short seated last year, so my sample size is still pretty small....

Wait a second......................... hehe. Stupid TP. I was looking at "Won $ WSF%" - That's telling me what % of the time I win money after seeing a flop

Ok, back to the Showdown number in question:

Full ring: 53%
Short seated: 55%

That more like it!

Default More data...

That was only for $5/10 at Party/Empire. When I throw in other sites, limits, and NL games, my grand total for the 42k hands I have in Poker Tracker is right around 53%. That's a little lower than I'd like, but I guess I can live with that if "low 50s is common for long term winners."
