AA late in tourney

Sorry, don't have the hand histories to post. I've now lost (or been crippled) in three seperate tournaments by pocket aces. Normally I really wouldn't care, but, the times I'm talking about are during either the final 18 or 27. I'll pull up the hand history for the aces tomorrow when I wake up. Got 15/1500 though. Six more and the money would have been so much better, but then again if I didn't want to gamble w/ aces I shouldn't be playing. I guess my question is, should I have pushed pre flop or was a 4xbb sufficient?
