Default My opinion

I have tryed some other games and nothing is even close to holdem, so I think that TPL3 should be more holdem orientated.

Ding ding ding, well done.

It was exaggerated though.

Slovaks and Czechs hate each other though, that is a fact, my sis-in-law is Czech.

Do Americans hate Canadian? Do Canadian hate Americans? I don`t know maybe some do. I think that Czechs and Slovaks are still very friendly to each other. When we play hokey against each other, well that is a different story, but when they are playing against somebody else, we keep thumbs to Czechs.
In every country there are people that don`t like somebody.

Not all Americans are ignorant and think what they see in the movies is "real" - incluiding Zybomb, who was making a joke with his Eurotrip comment.

Registration is now open for Thursday night's tourney:

I moved it back a couple of days in hopes of a better turnout.

In other news, Stars is still not offering Razz or HORSE Private tourneys, so I think we're going to have to schedule the league without them. I'd still like to get things kicked off in early October, so I guess it's time to come up with a schedule.

I think the TOC should be NLHE, personally. HORSE would be cool, but honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up for that being an option for us... and it would be stupid for the TOC to be Stud or Omaha, etc.

My first request is that you shift the schedule to START on Sundays (10/1) and then second tourney of the week would be on T, W or Th.

If there is No Razz by Week 9, I say we make it LHE instead (we have plenty of NLHE). The rest looks great to me, but I haven't matched it up with a calendar or anything (have to avoid Thanksgiving, etc - well want a Tuesday tourney that week).

I will adjust a little later.

As far as HORSE and RAZZ @ Pokerstars, I have no specific knowledge of this but once they get them up and running in all forms, why would they NOT make them available for private tournies as well? I pushed them till the end to leave as much time as possible, but I would think they will be all set by the WCOOP, my guess. I might shoot support an email in the next day or two to try to get a general sense of their schedule.

Looks really good. I think the only changes I'd make are:

Week #10
(12/3) Sunday 9:30PM NLHE
(12/5) Tuesday 9:30PM HORSE (NLHE if no HORSE @ Pokerstars)
Either switch this to Wednesday (we missed a W last week, plus it less of a wait to the TOC)...

TOC (Week #11)
(12/13) Wednesday 9:30PM NLHE (Maybe HORSE??)
...or switch this to the previous Sunday - 12/10.

Either is fine with me. No need to have 8 days off before the TOC though.

If you agree (or not), I'll go ahead and get a new thread up with the details, so people can start paying and we can see how many really are interested. Here's hoping it won't be like 5 of us or something.

Assuming a Sunday night is an ok night to get everyone available, I would say go with that change. Doesn't matter to me.

You don't need to be intimidated. Other than a COUPLE of people here, I don't think any of us are "very good" at any of these games. They are fun though, and a lot of basic poker logic applies. I mean, you're going to want to know the RULES for each game, of course (they are posted on Stars), but beyond that, there's no reason to be intimidated.

I'll try to official thread set up int he next day or two.
