Suggestion for TP
This is just a thought. If your not going to run your promo where you pay for posting after Xmas then this prolly dont apply. Although this may give you reason to run it continually. Still offer the 10c per post, no max or whatever you deem necessary, but make it where everyone who signs up after 11:59:59pm Dec 31st has to have it deposited into an acct that they have signed up for under one of your links. Then your not really paying the whole 25 and possibly getting way more back that what you put in. Just thought about this a sec ago and thought i would drop you a few lines about it.

If you offer someone $25 for posting messages and say that it's free, then you can't have a stipulation on it. A stipulation (ie: "signing up at one of my affiliate link websites...") is called "consideration" in the world of contract law, and the $25 is then said to be "bargained for."
What does this all mean? Probably nothing. My point is this: If he wants to offer FREE money, then it should be free. When the offer expires, then it expires. The problem with making someone sign up w/ an affiliate link is that they are required to deposit for him to make any money. What if people can't / don't want to deposit into another site? Did I miss a post somewhere saying when the free money would stop? After Christmas? (Sure, it can't go on forever... he's not THAT good of a cardplayer...) Hah!

A few things:
1. This is a suggestion, so I'm moving it into the suggestions section. 2. This little promo of mine is costing my a fortune, and I expect it to continue to. It will definitely be ending. There is a solid base of posters here now though, so hopefuly this forum will continue to grow.... and I will definitely have other promos in the future - private tourneys with added money and so on. 3. The promo ends on 12/31/04 - says so right in the first post on this site. |

I saw it. I know a single tourney is certainly not a large enough sample size to be meaningful, but we'll let our little TPF tourney (whenever it happens) speak for itself. You and I should make a side bet on who knocks out Lou

that was just a suggestipn for signups after the start of the new year. Something TP could think of. Just thought after the new year if tp was still recruiting that would be a nice way for some kickback
