Can you post the original hh here so I can see it - I'll run through it. I have noticed a few problems with picking up tournament games properly...

Whenever I try to convert a Stars hand it does this. I realize the actual output is at the bottom, but it's sort of annoying wading through this. Also, I liked the split boxes page (where it has the raw hand history on the left and the converted one on the right) a lot more than the one that there is now.

Why do you like the split better than just a single box? I think the single box is a lot cleaner, don't you?

I've removed the debug code from the PS converter. Under the old, dual box, method it didn't actually show up - anyway it's gone now.

The dual box method didn't let you see both version at once anyway - this new one is easier to fit on the page and I believe is more user friendly. Anyone else have thoughts on that?

I'll take this opportunity to point out a couple of nice features of the converter that the others I looked at don't have (these are some nice, "make it easy to use" types of things).

the converter automatically detects what site you're hh file is from - I really like that one. It also detects what user is the HERO, so you don't have to type your name in to make HERO show up - I REALLY like that.

Usability is very important to me and making sure it works accurately is also important. If anyone has any comments on those two topics (or anything else) please speak up...

I just uploaded the latest version. Personally, I think the HH is great as is and I much prefer the single box over the dual boxes... the only thing I'd like to see added (new functionality-wise) at this point (besides supporting more sites, of course) is the option for a text only output.

I added the checkbox to the php page, but I have no idea how to actually modify the output to lose all the forum specific formatting and change to cdhs...

Default Omaha H/L ?

I am having difficulty, trying to use the converter to post a Omaha HH.

I am not playing under my own name, if that is the root of the problem.

Would you like me to post it here?

I didn't build it with omaha in mind - I've never played omaha... I'm not sure it would work at all... You can post the HH file here and I'll take a look, but I won't promise anything.

A couple of extremely minor things that I noticed in this HH:

This is wrong:
Also, I would prefer if this:
BB: $ sitting out

was changed to this:
BB is sitting out

And lastly, for tenths of dollars, let's use the trailing zero, ie:
SB posts Small Blind $0.5

should be:
SB posts Small Blind $0.50

and:
Pre-flop: T J ($1.5)
should be:
Pre-flop: T J ($1.50)

IT's so good already, why not make it perfect, right?

Something else I've noticed about this converter. For hands like , it's showing the number of players sitting at the table, even if one or more of them is sitting out. I think that number should reflect the number of players dealt into the hand.

(Also, don't forget about my previous post )

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned some of these things before, but I think they have been missed, so here goes again.

Take this HH, for example:

-It's a cash game, so there should be no buy in listed.
-It says 6 players, but there were only 4, because 2 were sitting out.
-I'd prefer it say this:
CO is sitting out
instead of this:
CO: $ sitting out
Alternatively, those positions could be removed from the HH completely, but that would require renaming the other positions based on the new number of plauers (in this case, 4). That would be better, but I'm assuming it would be a lot more complicated.

-The pot size isn't shown in the preflop line:
Pre-flop: 3 T ($)

I hope you don't mind me posting these, de-coder. The Converter is very good as is, but it's obviously still got some bugs. If you get a chance to look at these and the other issues that have been listed, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Another one for your list....

I noticed tonight that when someone shoves all in and has the other person covered, the pot is incorrectly displayed in the converted HH (because the shover gets his uncalled money back). Example here:

This was the original HH for testing purposes:

cardiffgiant1 posts the small blind of $2
aguato23 posts the big blind of $4

This is not a "bug," but merely a request:

For all the blank lines in the converted HH, can you add one single space on each of them? For whatever reason, when I cut and paste the HHs, I need to manually insert spaces on those lines, or else they disappear.

I have no idea why this happens, but adding spaces to those lines would fix my issue and shouldn't be noticeable to anyone else.

Thanks.

Just sticky the fucker already! It's annoying to have to come to this thread or find a post by you to get a link to the converter. We're using it, so sticky it.

Wait... you come to this thread to find a post by me to find a link to the converter?

Dude - just change the word forum to hh in the address bar... I mean, it's not like it's hard to remember.

Here I thought you wanted this stickied so EVERYONE would use it, and not just 90% of us. Little did I know it's because you can't remember the letter h. Twice. LOL.
