Default idea for a new sng

Just thought of this. Kind of a mix between stt's, shootouts, and multi table sng's.

Tourney would probably be best with say 81 entrants, 9 tables x 9 players per table. Each table would play down to the final 3, and then move on to the next table. So similar here to an stt in that top 3 'pay', and similar to a shootout in that you have to be at the top of your table, and show a proficiency at short handed play. Chips would roll over to next round, and probably top 9 or final table would pay out. So you basically would have to 'cash' in consecutive stt's; the only difference again being that you take you stack with you till you bust.
They could obviously be smaller (27 players), or larger in whatever multiples and payouts would make sense.

Seems like something I would want to play in.
Anyone else?

That's a cool idea. Interesting how it's completely different if you take your stack with you or if it's more like a satty and it resets after each round.

This is somewhat like the modified shootout tournaments that Foxwoods runs during the FPC and WPF, except that the field plays 1 SNG and the top 3 at each table move on to the MTT phase.
