This is a classic problem with limit hold'em - you can't bet enough to take away odds.

Sometimes, if you keep calling on the earlier streets w/o odds, you'll get the correct odds eventually on a later street!!!!!

I think that's the basic reasoning used here.

I don't see this as a problem at all. Making your opponents make mistakes (which they did on nearly every street here) = money for you in the long run. Play this hand exactly like this 100 times, and I promise you will come out WAY ahead.

P.S. I three bet that river 100% of the time.

I'd usually 3bet the river, but this guy was extremely passive and I'd seen him call down with middle set before.

Also, this picture shows what running bad looks like (from the last two days, pretty much all 6-max btw)

As you point out, you are sitting on top set, and behind exactly one combination of cards. Results aside, three betting is a must here.

That said, losing to these guys is painful!
