Default Helping someone out on the bubble

I'm kind of angry about this. We were getting down to the bubble (65 people left, top 60 ITM) and this guy to my right was very short stacked--he was in the bb and was forced to go all in. He had been begging all of us to help him out and fold for at least 5 minutes, so we all folded so he could make it into the money. I was also short stacked, but had 2 BB, so I was sure I'd be ITM.
Well, it turned out that the BB came to me a second time and put me all-in. I figured that since there were only 61 people left everyone would do the same for me. And they did--until it reached the buttfart to my right who called and won with an A high. What a buttfart.

I've learned a valuable lesson. This was only a $1 buy in, with a $4 60th place prize, but it still pisses me off I spent over 2 hours for that to happen.

... and collusion is cheating. It's bad enough for him to ask, but downright crazy for you to comply. But you've probably figured that out by now.

Play to win.

Wow, Quint. I didn't even think of it that way. I guess that really is cheating, huh? I've offended the poker gods now and will pay the price very soon, I'm sure.

I disagree. If I am out to make money at a particular sitting, I will definately play to place ITM to avoid bad things happening. That is if its getting close to the money, I play to win at the beginning.

this is your opinion, but i still feel that you shouldnt be in a tourney if you dont plan on doing your best to WIN and not just post ur blinds and fold till you are ITM
