the FAQ on should answer your questions, but you can get a trial version of 1,000 hands, then you have to buy it to continue. Depending on the site you play you can import histories automatically, just look in the options.

Just play around with it after you get a few hundred hands in... Even after using PT for 2 months, I am constantly learning new tricks.

Cheers,

I wish someone would come up with a tracking software for Pacific. They have the worst software (no notes, no multi table, etc) so I would think a tracking software would be the most beneficial, and therefore wanted, at that site. Pretty big site, lots of players/fish! Anybody heard anything at all about a Pacific tracker?? I may post a new thread at some point.

Poker Tracker works for tournamments too, but only at a few sites.

In general, I would say the number of sites that PokerTracker allows histories from is its only downside. There isn't a better alternative, so I shouldn't complain but when you play around at smaller sites there is a huge hole in your statistics when your PokerTracker data only includes mainstream sites.

And a heads up for PokerRoom players. Enable your statistics (Statistics/Enable Statistics on main screen pull down menus) BEFORE you start to play. I just realized that all the hands I have played there so far were not added to the PokerRoom histories database, because this was not turned on. So there is another hole in my PokerTracker data

Have you imported the hand histories?? If so, under file menu click either "Ring Game Player Statistics" or "Tounament Player Statistics" depending on what type of histories you brought in. This will bring you into the stats pages that have you hands, opponents, sessions, and overall stats.

If you have not brought in hand histories then it depends on what sites you have played at how you get them into the Poker Tracker System. What sites have you played on?

From PokerTracker Help File.......

PokerStars - from the lobby window, go to the Requests menu and select Hand History. Stars allows you to request your last xx number of hands, a specific hand or your hands played over the last xx hours. BE AWARE though that if you use this feature to request your hands played over the past xx hours, they will NEVER send more than 200 hands, even if you have played more than that. It's very misleading. Another feature that Stars has is the ability to request Tournament Summaries (also under the Requests Menu). If you are importing tournament hand histories, it is important that you also request the tournament summary for the tournament(s) you are playing in.

-------------------------------------

Once you request the histories, it will go to your email account on file with PokerStars. Take the text of that email and save it as a .txt file. Then in Pokertracker go to the file menu and "Import Hand Histories/Tournament Summaries" and select the .txt file you created ("Select Files to import" button). You can set PokerTracker to check your email dierectly, but I have never done it that way, so maybe someone else can explain that, or just go to PokerTracker.com and look at (search) their forums for Pokerstars hand histories and i'm sure you will find what you need.

Good Luck
