Cool Tough Ones to throw McNugent

Not sure what you could have done differently. Based on the eventual winners hands, even an all-in would not have forced them to lay down. It just has to go down as a bad beat. That doesn't help the sting.

If it makes you feel any better, I was beat the other night badly and it cost me over $100. I had a boat (AA,666)
I was dealt pockets (As, Ad) the flop was Tc, 6d, 6h. I was out of position so I was following. I chose to not go over the top as my the player in position was betting away. The turn was a 3d. He checked and I bet. He called. The river was a freakin' 6s. He went all-in and I immediately called without giving consideration to what might be lurking.
He was holding the other 6 with a Q or something. It hurt and I was on tilt for the rest of the night. I have not played real money since. I get burned more on-line with the river card than imaginable. I play MUCH better in a real setting where I can read the players a little.

Good luck and keep the aloe vera close at hand!!!!
