So based on the responses here, which were similiar opinions to the way I would play this situation..... it just shows that flush draws can and do pay off even though they are obvious

This being said, why do so many people seem to be laying down these drawing hands to medium bets, stating that the draw is obvious and it cant pay off

Everyone who responded here (myself included) would pay the flush off in some fashion

PS: TP still waiting on your "I'll respond later" response to the original post dealing with this

When your flush hits on the turn, if it is the nuts. its definitely a check or small bet to keep your player in the hand. However do not give away your hand. I would probably bet a low flush strong and see if someone chases a higher flush. When it hits on the turn CHECK OR BET A SMALL AMOUNT to keep the player in the pot!

yeh def theres nothing worse then overbetting and revealing ur hand after you've slow played it. however as has bin said earlier theres certain ways to bet the river, if theres just the 2 of u left, uv hit ur hand and have put ur opponant on a lesser hand, a small bet say 15-20% of the pot will intice ur opponent. Of course if he has position on u he could always overbet in which case id raise or push all in

Default The move..

If your the guy with the flush draw, do you get paid off more often if you lets say re-raise the flop and act weak when your flush hits the turn? Disguise your hand? I have seen this work sometimes, and people try to bluff me off the nut flush and I take there entire stack.. I have also seen this backfire when a smart player re-raises me and I can not call.. Any idea's?
